I stand that this performance (Osaka, Japan. March 15, 2023) was the best performance of this song.

I actually wrote a paper about the whole album and featured this performance for the said title track:

“The way he sang the “Ever thought of calling, darling?” With the word ‘darling’ being prolonged and belted out and seeing this is the most recent performance, his voice sounds so silky and so strong and so rich, and his face? The way he scrunched up his nose so cutely as he hit those notes perfectly and seems like he is feeling those emotions as to when he first wrote the lyrics to this song.

I am gasping for air and banging my palm on the table as I am writing and rewatching this performance for the nth time.

Look at that perfect angle shot of the camera. The lights are perfectly hitting his face. The sound of this video is so crisp that no other person in the crowd could clearly be heard, just only his voice seems to be focused and recorded. The video is so clear that it feels like my eyeballs are the one recording it, even better than my eyeballs as I do not have a 20/20 vision. The smoke behind him adds to that heavenly effect and the yellow lights accentuates his features so gorgeously.”
