Charlotte Rose Mantle Part Two
Charlotte likes to go by the nickname Charlie, and hardly ever lets anyone call her Charlotte. She also will allow the nickname Lottie, but she prefers Charlie.
Charlotte is rather shy at first, and it takes her a bit to open up to people. Though, once she is comfortable she is a ball of energy. And she more than likely won't shut up. She is very sensitive and doesn't take lightly to any kind of criticism-good or bad. Basically, if she's doing something wrong she feels like she messed up and gets upset. Charlotte can be pretty sarcastic and she can have quite the temper. If you make her mad, she will probably go off on you, or someone around her, or she will just want to be alone to calm down. When she is sad or just feeling down, she is extra clingy. If nobody is around for her to cuddle with or hug, then she will curl up in her bed and try to take a nap until she feels better. Art tends to make her feel better too, and she uses it as an outlet for anger and sadness. She likes to take her art supplies to Pop's, the Quarry, or Sunnyside Trailer Park-AKA one of her Serpent friend's trailers.
As a creative person, Charlotte loves photography, music, and drawing. She has been drawing since she was eight years old, and she’s had a camera for photography since she was twelve. Music has been in her life since she was little. She knew her parents had a love for it. Her love for the beach came from visiting her grandparents on the coast, and she always felt the calmest sitting in the sand at a bonfire, smoking weed, and laughing with her friends. Charlotte also loves amusement parks, sweets, fluffy blankets, tacos, and orange juice.
Anything that is considered cotton candy or blueberry flavored- or anything with blue dye really- Charlotte wants nothing to do with it, her taste palette just doesn't go with it. She would much rather be cold than hot, so she tends to get annoyed in the heat. Her dislike for ducks comes from when she visited a farm during her third-grade end-of-the-year field trip, and she was chased around by a few ducks.
You can not get anywhere near Charlotte with a needle unless you have her restrained, she will kick and fight for her life, for some reason she just does not like needles. Charlotte is also claustrophobic. She is afraid of dogs, due to being attacked when she was five years old. She also has a fear of the dark.
Charlotte and Sweet Pea connect immediately. While she isn't supposed to be friends with anyone from the southside, she couldn't deny that she felt drawn to him. Something about sweet pea just made her crazy. There is always a bit of bickering between the two, as she is rather stubborn and doesn't like to listen, but they also have a very fun and playful relationship. Pillow fights, tickle wars, and wrestling matches. They are both rather competitive so when they are playing video games or pool together, it's always best to have a supervisor around (usually Toni or Fangs). As they get closer, they really figure each other out. She tends to patch him up after fights, and he knows all the best ways to calm her down. Sweet Pea is also super protective/possessive of her, he gets jealous easily and is always picking fights with boys who try to flirt with her or look at her the wrong way.
