Last week we visited our veggie plot at @aplotincommon and came away with such an abundance of goodies which we are still enjoying. Not only did we dig up handfuls of our Kipfler potatoes which we planted last year, but we left with zucchinis, jalapeños, foraged cherry plums and two huge chickens. Thanks so much Tash and Ben, we always have such a great time exploring your farm! We are eagerly awaiting these beautiful pears to ripen. Btw Tash I think the pears are Forelles, an old European variety. I am having the most incredible time at the @thecraftsessions retreat. I've finally learnt how to do embroidery after doing @melissa.wastney's wonderful workshop and I'm pretty chuffed with it so far. Luckily the thread is pretty forgiving as I've made some mistakes which are hiding quite nicely. Foraged wattle, wax flower and gum nut specimens that we collected were used as inspiration for this piece. Still a lot to do...in particular a million more little french knots to complete the wattle buds.
