I think I've said it before and I'll definitely say it again but if we ever learn anything about Stolas's mother (assuming he has a mother and Paimon doesn't reproduce by budding or something), I really hope that she just sucks so fucking bad.

There are a number of reasons for this, but the biggest is that I really want Stolas's kindness to be something he cultivated himself. There was no one to teach him how to be a loving and gentle person, he didn't have an example to follow. He created that warmth from nothing but his own determination. He was inclined to be kind by nature, but there was no one around but him to nurture that inclination... and even still, all the cruelty of the people around him couldn't beat that out of him. I want Stolas's kindness to be hard-won, something he fought with metaphorical bloody knuckles to protect and preserve in himself against all odds.

I want Stolas's greatest triumph to be that he is a kind person when there is absolutely no reason in the world that he should be.

People need to understand that the cursing in the Hellaverse (among other adult shows) has nothing to do with "maturity" and everything to do with not needing to censor ourselves "for the kids".

I think a lot of people would benefit from unlearning the idea that casual sex is inherently disgusting, harmful, or immoral just because they personally don’t want to partake in it. You can stand up for sexual safety and consent without acting like people who enjoy fucking strangers are degenerates. I take no issue with anyone asserting boundaries or stating that they’re not interested in certain kinds of sex or even sex as a whole. But when you condemn or express disgust at others for engaging in consensual sex, that’s when you start to sound like a puritan.

Btw, this includes self-proclaimed “feminists” who shame and lecture women for giving men “access” to their bodies. Bodies are not commodities and sex is not inherently transactional. You don’t lose anything by having sex on purpose with a person you find attractive. Sex is not some metaphysically transformative thing that bonds you to the other person forever. It is literally not that deep.

Sex that is transactional is also fine, if you are content with the trade. You don't lose anything of yourself by selling sex, you don't owe anyone sex and you're allowed to make payment a boundary, and your number of sexual partners does not determine your worth.
