How Hiccup was genuinely moving while they were up against Viggo:
Exact context of this scene btw
He's literally doing this:
Alive, alive, alive.
I’m sick and tired of my full comic of this scene so here have a sketch of one of them~~
My contribution of PHM fanart that took me so much longer to finish than I wanted
Typical science teacher behavior
Since Rocky and Grace have access to a ton of video games on the Hail Mary, I figured eventually they'd play Just Dance during their trip to Erid
the thing about Tangled is that this is a story geared towards little girls (even if it's "fun for the whole family," it's a disney princess movie, it's geared towards little girls), and it says, "here is a girl who is naive and doesn't know anything about the 'Real World' or how to navigate it safely and correctly. now pay close attention: the good guys are the ones who help her grow and explore new things while still respecting her own perspective and feelings, not making her feel stupid. the bad guys are the ones who tell her that she is too weak/immature/naive to do the things she wants to do, because she is fragile and needs protecting." and I watched this when I was nine years old and it resonated deep in a part of me that I couldn't articulate with words yet.

Silly comic. Grace would absolutely pull this move.
Lilo & Stitch (2002) dir. Chris Sanders, Dean DeBlois
I was talking to my husband the other day and, as a random example of a boring topic that nobody at a party would want to hear about, I happened to come up with, “The history of wheelbarrows.”
But then my husband and I got curious and decided to look up the history of wheelbarrows, and we both thought it was surprisingly interesting.
The very next day, we were visiting a thrift store with family and my sister spotted a toy wheelbarrow for her son, and my husband said, “Did you know that Jesus was older than wheelbarrows? They weren’t invented until around 100 CE.”
This is why curious people are my favorite type of people. No topic is really that boring when you look into it. And everything is more interesting when you talk about it with someone you love.
Has this been done yet
Edit: was not expecting this to blow up, and I've seen some people mistake this as an original idea, so here is the original post this is based on
I like when fic length/book length/movie length is its own punchline
characters: Ah, I'm so glad that's all over now :). But luckily that's done and dealt with and we can all resume our normal lives now :)
fic length: Chapter 9 out of 48
Odysseus: Thank you for the concern, but brother, I can assure you Our journey is almost done.
