Fanart for a fanfic? It's more likely than you think! I'm rusty on coloring, but was absolutely inspired by @historical-kitten 's Free Fall and had to draw Robert fighting sedation to use his (emotional support) IV stand (wellness spear) to fight back from Chapter 20.

Ice clinked softly as Chase scooped a spoonful out, waited a beat like he was calibrating something important instead of just melting ice. He turned back to the bed. “Open.”

Robert looked at the spoon. Then at Chase. Then he gave him that look, the one that had gotten him out of trouble and into worse trouble since he was seven. “You’re enjoying this,” Robert said hoarsely. “I can tell.”

Chase snorted. “Take the chips.”

“I’m a grown man,” Robert informed him.

“Open up, motherfucker,” Chase repeated, calm and immovable.

Slow Burn Flambert

“Better?”

“Annoyingly,” Robert said.

“Yeah, I’m very gifted,” Flambae replied.

“You’re very smug.”

“And you’re very breakable," Flambae shot back. "We all have our talents. Sit still.”
