It’s a place warm, an island cherished,
with embarrassment in every frame.
A reminder, that was nothing - vanished,
however, captured that moment became.
That world was a different adventure,
One that was ‘never again!’.
The Kodaks, and all the exposure,
would haunt us and drive us insane.
Those moments of loss, craze and freak-outs
Of rushing and filming ahead.
The quality, rides and excitement,
Everything here was misread...
Not only the second or third,
not forgetting the fourth, next the fifth.
Technology carried us through fine,
Now its the ultimate gift,
Tradition took us back every three years,
Although not everything lasts,
Having photos and memories with beers,
‘Has time really slipped by this fast?’
They can remember us posing as children.
Unhappy, with the heat and ’Say Cheese’
It was time to revisit the mansion,
an opportunity that we all seized.
