Almost 200 people were murdered in Armenia in 3 days and y'all are still ignoring us.
This is not a war, this is a massacre Azerbaijan and Turkey are committing against the Armenian people.
Turkey's president literally admitted that he wants to finish what his ancestors started. He wants to commit another genocide, and this time he wants to kill us all.
Update: it's been over a month. 2 thousand people were murdered so far. Please, I'm so scared, just reblog this. I'm not asking for a lot, if you can't donate that's fine, just share this.
The usual warning that if you take anything stronger than a multivitamin to strongly reconsider the Grapefruit. Grapefruit messes real bad with essentially every medication out there so skip it for some other fruit/veg.
The Game’s Not Over Yet. Here are Some Tips And Tricks to Lessen your Carbon Footprint
Step one: If you are able, change your diet. Animal Agriculture is the number 1 cause of climate change. That includes Meat, Dairy, Eggs and Fish.
Animal agriculture is the second largest contributor to human-made greenhouse gas emissions and a leading cause of deforestation, water and

Japanese is something known as a ‘pronoun drop’ language. This means in instances where it is not necessary to specify the pronoun, it is not used. A lot of common Japanese phrases translated as having a subject and object actually only include a verb, such as 大好き (‘daisuki’), usually translated as ‘I love you’, but which literally only means ‘love’.
On top of that, it’s very unusual for third person pronouns to be used. Japanese has many, many first person pronouns and many, many second person pronouns but only two third person pronouns: 彼 ('kare’) he and 彼女 ('kanojo’) she. These words are used so infrequently that they’re actually both used to mean boyfriend and girlfriend respectively, for example is '私の彼’ ('watashi no kare’), my boyfriend. Instead, one generally uses their name, for example, '田中先輩は今日勉強しますか?’ ('Tanaka-senpai wa kyou benkyou shimasu ka?’) can be reasonably translated as “Will he study today?” if that fits the flow of conversation better.
This is why so many anime characters are ambiguously gendered! It’s very easy to navigate the Japanese language without ever acknowledging the gender of the person being spoken about. Even characters whose gender isn’t ambiguous can go entire series without it being explicitly acknowledged.
What’s noticeable about this conversation, then, is that the speaker uses 彼 throughout. Even when grammatically unnecessary, the narration goes out of its way to use the male third person pronoun for a character it had just established as a trans man, in a way that makes it clear that it wants the viewer to perceive the subject of the conversation as a man.
It’s a nice touch that gets lost a bit in translation :)
I just love how this started off with the person saying “I don’t understand how people get mad at food workers, like it’s just a carrot, that’s nothing to blow up over” and then they proceed to blow up over the fact that the other person doesn’t have carrot at their subway……..
Let’s talk about Yemen, where half of the population is expected to die by the next year if they don’t get immediate help, and there has been a civil war going on since 2014.
IRUSA donors have been providing humanitarian aid inside Yemen, giving food, water, medical aid and more to those in need.
I looked up which organisations are helping Yemen and IRUSA came up a significant number of times as being trustworthy, transparent and it seems to be a good choice. Also, Save The Children:
I just donated to Save the Children to transform children's lives and the future we share. Join me.
I’ve also learned another scary fact - every two hours in Yemen a mother and six newborns die due to complications in pregnancy and childbirth.
Also: Throw in some early blooming things like snowdrops or crocus - the bees will love them! They’ll be gone mid-May, leaves and all. A lot of people only plant summer flowers and nothing for spring and autumn, so keeping pollinators fed and happy during those seasons is super important!
You can make insect hotels too! Just bundle up some reeds and twigs of varying sizes, paired with some loose straw pads and wood with holes of varying sizes drilled in. Those will help insects keep warm and snug over winter!
For those in the Mid and Eastern US, Prairie Moon is my favorite native seed supplier. Their free catalogs are beautiful, inspirational, and hold a wealth of information. Oh and their prices are very reasonable.
Here’s a few awesome easy-to-grow native plants to consider:
Aquilegia canadensis aka Eastern Columbine. - relatively-short lived perennial but it reseeds well. This plant gives zero fucks and will grow almost anywhere - sun, shade, whatever.
Sometimes called Celandine poppy or woodland poppy. Stylophorum diphyllum. Also short lived but reseeds well.
Phlox divaricata aka Woodland Phlox. It comes in varying shades of bluish lavender. Unlike creeping phlox, this one has tall skinny stems.
Worth reblogging!
Not true about the columbine being easy to grow, though, at least for me. I kept planting it and it kept dying until I just started growing it in containers.
