Also, Conor McGregor blew out his knee in like nine seconds last night and Drake lost a million dollars betting on him.
So even better
it bothers me when someone brings up misogyny in shounen anime and people shrug it off with "its designed for teenage boys, what can you expect." like well. idk i think its actually pretty important that shows for teenage boys are normal about women. i mean i think all media should be normal about women but teenagers are impressionable i think we could put a little bit of feminism in the teenage boy shows. it might do some good. you never know.
I've been back on this hellsite (affectionate) for nearly two weeks now and realized I have not seen a single piece of fanart featuring Grace in his obscene adorable lil EVA undersuit and so ofc had to rectify this injustice immediately.
did you know avoidance only makes all of your problems worse. no one has ever discovered this before
I've suspected this for a long time but I usually try not to think about it
Presenting Human and Eridian Grace!
Not much to say that I didn't already, but I spent a lot of time thinking about his eridian form and Im satisfied with it.
You'll understand this better if you take a look at my eridian egg cycle chart!
(ignore how the last page is unfinished, i want to go to bed)
P.S. Because Eridians have really long lifespans, and most mate clusters only have one litter of offspring in their lives, hatching is a rare occasion and celebrated greatly. Because of this, Eridians name their children after celestial body positions or natural circumstances that happen when the pebbles hatched.
hey its me your immune system. looks like we caught somethin here. try sneezing real fast see if that gets rid of it. yeah no dice, huh... alright lemme try filling your lungs with fluid. no yeah i do it all the time dont worry works like a charm. hmmm... still no good... alright well just hold tight here for a minute maybe it just needs time to start working. in the mean time ill go fire up the ol' neuron cooker n see if that helps

i do think theres something sad about how largely only the literature that's considered especially good or important is intentionally preserved. i want to read stuff that ancient people thought sucked enormous balls
Time to take this post entirely too seriously:
I often wonder if this is why you so commonly see the sentiment that we are in an era of uniquely bad literature, or at least that the fact that most books don't have artistic aspirations and are not aiming to be anything other than mindless entertainment is new. In fact what's new is the idea that everything is worth preserving (and also the internet making it easier to preserve it). The dumb artistically unambitious trash books of the past have survived only sporadically, because people thought of them as literally disposable.
When I was in college I had a professor who was an expert on detective fiction. He had a longstanding beef with the idea that "Murders in the Rue Morgue" was the first detective story. He thought that it seemed way too polished to be inventing a new genre, and also that the whole orangutan business had the vibe of someone subverting preexisting audience expectations and maybe engaging in a bit of stealth parody. With the help of some student volunteers, he went trawling through old magazines and newspapers and found hundreds of detective stories from the early 1800s that just hadn't garnered enough individual attention to be remembered. This was because most of them sucked balls. He created an online archive of them, so you too can read these mostly terrible stories.
I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on Project Gutenberg sifting through forgotten old fiction and lemme tell ya. a lot of that stuff sucks ass.
Tremendously comforting, really.
I've been fed, walked and watered and I've slept enough and been out of the internet and I'm doing crafts.
Why am I still angry.
I walked right into this one like a blind horse into a revolving door.
Our Rocky 💫
Watched Project Hail Mary for the first time a few days ago and I’m obsessed. The way James Ortiz brings life to Rocky is so mesmerizing to see. I love seeing artists do what they love.
I technically wanted to draw a human version of Rocky but eventually settled for a one sitting session portrait of James <3 8 hours well spent.

I mainly draw book rocky cause I rly like the idea of eridian clothing and Rocky looking more alien-like as pentagonally symmetrical (imo). But there’s something about the love and care and craftsmanship of the movie puppet that moves me to tears. They put so much work on making him so unique and filled w personality. He has so many intricate details, every single part of him likely discussed for days until the very last Rocky iteration. Such a stunningly beautiful puppet, I love him to bits
