Note the phrasing here. "He[Eddie] is going with Tommy", not "Tommy is going and I'm not". The issue isn't Tommy going to the game, it's Eddie going with someone else instead of Buck. Because Buck's jealousy is fueled by a fear of being replaced in Eddie's life and losing Eddie, not by his wanting to be with Tommy. Subtle but important.
