Hot take but if I could spend the day with any rtte character I would chose Ryker in a heartbeat. He's so perfectly stuck in the middle between the riders and the villains so I feel like he would have some stories to TELL. I want to hear what it's like to have the teen viking version of PETA suddenly come and sabotage your family business that you've had for generations. I want to know what the conversation between him and Viggo was like when Viggo proposed that bringing back the literal plague would be a smart business move. I want to know how he felt when Heather randomly showed up with her literal pet dragon while being like "teehee I'm definitely a dragon hunter now (✿◠‿◠)" I would absolutely eat up anything this man had to say.

studying a little bit more anatomy and weapon designs featuring vigcup! + i think hiccup would be a fantastic archer, considering how much of a good aim he's shown to have throughout the show, comics, etc. viggo strikes me as someone who would surprise people with how adept he is with halberds/spears. i will probably explore this somehow in my thegn AU, and i may draw other httyd characters with their secondary weapons.

He expects good people to be goody-two-shoes rules followers, and he expects the rules to protect him no matter what he does.

Important lesson to learn from this standing up to fascists means getting into good trouble. Get into trouble if it's worth it. Fascists will never expect it.
