I didn’t even want to watch this season, but now I’m so personally invested in what happens

I’m fully back in the fandom now, I’ve been watching new episodes at like 2am when they drop like a Chud and I have no one in my life to talk about this kids show with so they all think I’m crazy

I think the term "dude" is (or should) be used like how people use chickens. Like when you say a chicken, you may picture a hen instead of a rooster, but they are both chickens. Within the dude terminology, there is also gendered versions of the neutral "dude" when people prefer gendered language: Dudebro and Dudette
