Basic Oatmeal Method
How I make oatmeal, quick and easy!
Ingredients
1/2 rolled oats
1 Tbs milled flax seed
1 tsp cinnamon
plant-based milk
Method
Mix oats, cinnamon and flax seed together.
Pour just enough plant-based milk to make the consistency not thick nor thin.
Microwave it for 2 minutes, then stir it.
Put back into the microwave for 1 minute, stir.
It should be thick by now, if too thick stir in some more milk.
I like to also stir in some frozen berries. It’s not only delicious but cools down the oatmeal faster.
Add toppings, such as peanut butter, granola, more cinnamon, chocolate square, vegan yogurt.
