My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance indeed You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
The righteous in the past all had 4 common qualities:
1 - Seeking knowledge the classical way.
2 - Lots of worship.
3 - Sincerity.
4 - Always caring for the Ummah.
- Shaykh Ahmad Mūsā Jibrīl حفظه الله
Prophet Muhammadﷺ said:
Whoever decides to commit a sin but does not [end up] doing it, Allaah will write one good deed for him - [saying] he only left it because of Me.
{صحيح مسلم ١٢٩}
Sh Ibn al-'Uthaymeen: “A single Tasbeeḥ (of Dhikr) in a person's record of deeds is better than the world and whatever it contains."
● [شرح رياض الصالحين ٣/٥٧٨]
Yusuf عليه السلام knew that all the doors were closed. And yet, he ran towards them because he knew Allah would open them for him. If all the doors seem closed to you, keep running. For you and Yusuf عليه السلام have the same Allah.
O Allah! I ask You faith that never swerves, and bliss that never ends, and accompaniment of Muhammad [Prayers and peace of Allah be upon him] in the highest degree of the Paradise of Eternity.
Whoever cannot endure reading two lines about ʿaqīdah and the Sunnah, how then will he endure acting upon them when the trial strikes?
Patience in seeking the truth is the forerunner of patience in holding fast to it.
The Salaf – may Allāh have mercy on them – used to enjoin one another to acquire knowledge before speech and action, because whoever is weak in his knowledge will be weak in his patience.
In our era, when bidʿah has triumphed, shirk has spread, Tawhīd and the Sunnah have become scarce, opponents have multiplied, and supporters have become few, the Sunni Muwāhid is in the most desperate need of knowledge that will steady his heart.So the one whose chest feels tight over two lines from the books of ʿaqīdah, how will he stand firm upon practising what is in them when he is opposed for it or harmed because of it?
O Allāh, grant us beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and patience upon the truth until we meet You while still holding to it.

Grateful for the pain that gave me understanding.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from misleading or being misled or oppressing or being oppressed or from being ignorant or bearing the result of ignorance
you have to love yourself so much that you become unbothered by the lack of love from others
And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.
wa-ittaqū l-laha wa-iʿ'lamū anna l-laha maʿa l-mutaqīn
Allahumma a‘inni ‘alā dhikrika wa shukrika wa ḥusni ‘ibādatik. O Allah, help me to remember You, to give You thanks and to perform Your worship in the best manner.
you are not your past. you are not your mistakes. you are not the words someone used to define you.
Never underestimate the consequences of your words
It took Abu Lahab one word to become a person cursed by the believers daily
He said, when the prophet first gathered the people to call them to islam;
تبا لك سائر النهار ألهذا جمعتنا؟!
May you be damned for the rest of the day. Is this what you called us for?!
So Allah sent in response to him a surah which is recited to this day, and will be recited to the judgement day
تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
“May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he ˹himself˺ perish!”
someone who fills your silence with understanding. someone who hears the words you never say out loud. someone who feels the weight of your pain and sees beyond your anger. someone who walks gently through the parts you guard from others.
It’s never smart to play with someone who prayed for you.
