They quite literally don’t make toas-tite machines like they used to anymore.
I need you all to understand that there exists a stainless steel industrial sandwich press which simultaneously turns your sandwich into an uncrustable and toasts it to golden brown while making the inside perfectly gooey like the world’s best grilled cheese. And they haven’t made them since the ‘50s. The closest thing currently in existence is those UFO burger presses but those are both non-stick (can’t get as good of a crust) and generally designed for use on buns instead of sliced bread.
My family has one functional antique one because my great-grandpa worked in the restaurant industry. When my grandparents eventually pass away this thing is gonna spark an inheritance feud between us and my uncle’s branch of the family.
