In German it's important to remember which pronoun to use in certain cases. It would be disrespectful to go to work, and call somebody their full name in English. In German, it's disrespectful to say "du" in formal settings. Also when you don't know the person very well, strangers also refer to each other with Sie. Du is used for people you know well. Family, siblings, friends.

Sometimes though, du should not be used with family. Especially elders, as it could be considered disrespectful. Since they are older. Sie can be shown as respect for someone above you, someone you don't know well, and also for formal situations.

AITA for stealing human bones?

About twenty minutes from my house in New Orleans is what we call the poor man’s graveyard. Most graveyards around here are full of above-ground graves because we live in a fish bowl. For those of us who are too poor to afford an above-ground burial.When it rains of course bones wash up, the older the grave, the more you find. You can literally walk around and see femurs, teeth, jaws, skull caps, etc. etc. This is where I (F24) go to find my human bones for curse work and general spells that require bone (I find human bones are easier to work with for me rather than animal bone. I can relate and work with the energy they carry if that makes any sense). Some people called me out for taking said bones. AITA?
