i know this was pointed out literally during the campaign by the players but it is still so funny to me that starstruck odyssey is brennan being all like "thank you my dear beloved mother for making this fun world and letting me make a campaign out of it, we are all having such a fun time in space it and its so nice with all these lively planets and concepts and characters. also i made up some race of slugs with zac that want to blow up a moon to take over the galaxy and so i put them there too xoxo."

I like that the library can send me automated text message reminders that my stuff is due, but I wish they also had an option to personalise the messages. I would like to make them more personal. Specifically passive-aggressive, with progressively less on the "passive" as the date approaches. Like three days before they're due it's like "hey I just wanted to remind you that you still have my stuff, in case you've forgotten that you were supposed to return them. No pressure though! You have three days :)"

Then a day before the date there's another text like "hey you still have my stuff, right? Yeah you have them, I'd know if you'd have returned them, I keep tabs on everything. Return them tomorrow. :)"

I know I already made a post to this effect but it's so baffling to me when someone defends the fact that headphone jacks are slowly but surely getting phased out by smartphone manufacturers with some variations of "wireless headphones are more convenient anyway" bc like. If we're talking about convenience what I like about wired headphones is that they conveniently have a single plug that makes the same damn pair of headphones universally compatible with every single audio-output-capable device I own, from my phone and my computer to my fucking gameboy and my casette player, it doesn't get any more convenient than that.

yeah it's real fucking convenient to use a bluetooth headphone and have it die on me hour 8 of hiking up a mountain during my job. You know what's 1 less device I have to charge and has never died on me during a hike due to lack of charge? A headphone I just plug directly into my device.
