This nail polish is beautiful and I love it
Getting back into bullet journaling after choosing minimalism as a lifestyle that’s good for me. We’ll see how this goes
If you can’t answer this question and justify your answer, do it now.
Remember:
Sustainable progress is always slow
Remember:
Anything is better than nothing. If you can only study one chapter today, that’s fine. Don’t beat yourself up that you can’t do more, because something is always better than nothing. Be kind to yourself.
I’ve discovered ‘the happiness podcast’ with Gretchen Rubin and even though it’s geared towards neurotypical people, I’ve gained a lot from it and some of it has been really useful
24.10.17 || Gym Post
I didn’t take a picture this time, but here is the workout I did. It was arms today, so it wasn’t very long, because my arms are very small and can’t take much!
Workout - Arms:
10 mins fast walking on treadmill - warm up
3 x 8 OHP
3 x 8 Bicep curl (underhand grip)
3 x 8 Assisted pull up
3 x 10 Cable triceps pulldown
I hope you enjoy. This is best for a beginner who hasn’t really done arms before. Your arms will hurt, but there’s nothing too complex. Remember to use weights that are not your max, but a place where you’re just outside of your comfort zone
24.10.17 || 2/100 Days of Productivity
Today was a busy day at work. I went to the gym before work and got an arm day in, and then I ran back home and got ready. I was slightly early, as you can see, even though I though I’d be late. I really need to get better with my time keeping skills. I went back home for lunch, and it was nice to be back for a bit, then I went back off to work and got a lot done in the afternoon.
I came home exhausted, so my boyfriend cooked me dinner (steak and green beans) and we ate, until he went to the gym and I went to sleep. All in all, a nice productive day!
23.10.17 || Gym Post
So, today was leg day (my favourite!)
To start, before working out, I made sure to stretch my legs really well. I like to do dynamic stretches before I do static stretches, because I feel like it helps much more. I do these stretches at home, and then when I get to the gym, I do a 10min warm up on the treadmill. So, here is my workout for the day!
Leg day 1:
5 x 5 Barbell Squats
3 x 15 Glute Bridges
3 x 8 Cable Hip Extension Backwards
3 x 10 Hip Abduction
3 x 10 Hip Adduction
3 x 15 low weight prone leg curl
3 x 15 Calf Raises
Note: I also warm up before any heavy weight exercises. I do one set of 5 squats with only the bar, one set with 1/4 of the weight I use, and one set with 1/2 of the weight I use. Then I go on to do my 5 x 5. Good luck!
23.10.17 || 1/100 Days of Productivity
Phew so today was a super busy day. I was up at 5:30 (and only remembered to open snapchat to take my first pic of the day almost 10mins later), and at the gym by 7. I’ll have a separate gym post detailing my workout today. I started a new job, and so I was in there by 9:30, and I loved it! It was awesome, and I felt great because I worked out before going. I got home at 5:30, and then had to run out to the shop to get dinner. I picked up an olive loaf and some Austrian Smoked Cheese though, and I couldn’t help myself, so I had no carbs for dinner. I did have 2 smoked Mackerel fillets, and I wilted a pan full of spinach with a little bit of salt. It was awesome.
Now (19:54 to be precise) I’m going to get my bag and lunch ready for work tomorrow, pre cook my breakfast (protein pancakes), and put my love’s lunch and breakfast into containers for him. I’m super tired today, so I think I’ll probably go to bed at around 21:45.
I took a break!
Soooo I took a break from posting! I needed to sort my sleeping schedule out, and so now I have, I’ll be posting again soon! I also completely overhauled my fitness routine and decided its time for a quick cut before winter bulking. I’ll probably be posting my workouts as well as my food/carloric intake from myfitnesspal. I think this might be helpful for some people, because eating at a deficit can be expensive if you don’t know what to cook! I’m on a food budget right now, so everything I make will be relatively cheap, and I’ll show you how I manage to hit my macro goals too, specifically protein goals! I’ll start the daily posts back on Monday, including my 100 days of productivity, which I will probably start again.
Have a great day!

Oh i love this concept!
I love it too! I love it mostly because it makes me feel less overwhelmed. When you break it down like this, everything seems so much more manageable. Like, hey, I could memorize 20 words at a time (even if ‘at a time’ varies wildly for me), and just do that like ten times. That’s a HUGE chunk of a language.
(And since I have the habit of doing languages that are similar to ones I’m already familiar with, the grammar part usually comes pretty easy, too.)
I’ve never seen a generic language learning post like this before but I LOVE IT?????
10.10.17 || 6/100 days of productivity Today has been spend primarily working on an old project. It's an algorithm to calculate Local Sidereal Time. I want to expand on it to include locations of either major celestial bodies, or major constellations. Maybe both. I haven't decided yet. It's a lot of fun though, I've had a lot of fun playing around with databases with my newfound SQL skills, and I've admittedly been quite distracted by that (oops!) Other than that, I did some maths study for a bit, and chilled out. I haven't had a nice relaxing day for a while, so it was an awesome opportunity to work on stuff I do for fun. Tomorrow will be different, but today was nice. I didn't go to the gym either, my body was sore and I decided to skip out on it today. I'm going tomorrow and I'm pumped to squat again, especially now I have good enough BCAAs so my legs don't feel like they're being torn apart the next day. I've also had a crap tonne of water today, so that's awesome. Stay Hydrated!

Today’s Workout - light
5 minutes on the elliptical
2.5 minutes on the stair machine
3 minutes rowing
3 sets of 10 on the hip adductor
1 pyramid set on the hip abductor
3 sets of 8 bicep curls
3 sets of 8 OHP
Today was another light workout, the same as yesterday. I wanted to squat today, but once I got there, the gym was soooo full, so I decided I’d do a light workout today, and go heavier tomorrow. I’m debating on deadlifting tomorrow, but that makes me crazy sore, so I’m undecided. I don’t have a set routine at the moment, because I’m in the middle of transitioning up to what I call ‘big girl weights’, which are basically anything other than kettle bells and dumbells. I’m loving it though. the change I’ve seen has been insane!
Stay Hydrated!
