I got an idea for a fic while trying to sleep and I'm currently planning it out by writing a few scenes. I'm not saying what it's about yet, just know it will be long and full of Dad Grayson because that's really what we're all here for, right? I'm also fixing canon because it needs it
here's one of the scenes I wrote for planning

Brown eyes searched the surrounding area; gazing over every little detail he could find of the plain white hallway. White walls, white tile floors with a few light blue specs sprinkled in and an empty metal cart parked next to a closed door. The hallway had many doors, actually.
They’re in a hospital, he determined. The plain colors, the multi-doored hallway, it wasn’t hard to figure out once he looked around. He’s been in these specific buildings more times than he could count. But why are they starting at a hospital? He was expecting to start their journey at Doom Manor. Isn’t that where Gar truly became Gar?
Turning his gaze down to the teen girl standing next to him, Dick frowns, “Where are we?”
Meeting her father’s gaze, Rachel explains as she was the only one who could, “2003. Portland, Oregon.”
2003. The date repeated in the man’s head. There was a familiarity to the numbers. Gar was born in 2003, wasn’t he? Yeah. He turned 16 a few months ago, on December 12th. He remembers Jason dropping his plate of cake and having one of his usual over the top reactions about it.
“I told you we had to start from the beginning.” Rachel shrugged before progressing down the hallway; Dick on her heel, “But we don’t have time to look around, we have to find Gar.”
Advancing down the blank hallway that reeked like the inside of a nursing home, Dick glanced to the side when they passed a window not covered by a blind. The normally clear glass encased in frost and through the blur, a hint of the sun and hefty amount of snowfall. Dick isn’t a snow person, after living in Gotham for most of his life, he could go through the rest of it and never see snow again, it wouldn’t bother him. But right now, feeling his heart begin to beat faster in his chest, it was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen.
