actually extremely regional english dialect translations arent just good theyre better because they force the audience to confront the fact that they are reading a translation and that there are no neutral choices
like genuinely there isnt a single good reason why a translation which makes everyone speak like an australian is more wrong than one which makes them speak like a californian

Anyway I'm thinking about witches and wizards a lot because my house has been planning an Evil Wizard Movie Night series where we and our friends watch movies about evil wizards while dressed up as evil wizards. What kinds of snacks do you think evil wizards eat.
evil wizards eat green grapes. prepare two bowls: one frozen and one microwaved. then mix them together. you’ll be surprised!
Not that I condone the actions of evil wizards, my liege, but I would suggest perhaps some hummus and pita chips. You can't go wrong with hummus and pita chips.

They stayed together as their generation died around them, and made through it to the point where they could marry and have a legal family. He looks like a chipper preppie who never had a serious thought or care in the world, but it took *incredible* determination, commitment, and also luck to get here.
