ok - confession - I did check the weight of a Gibson EDS-1275 and with a body alone of 6lbs on the Gibson.com specs page and owners estimating about 12lbs overall it appears to be only slightly heavier than Jimmy in 1977 and so the ant metaphor is perhaps stretching things a little.
