A special day...?!?

I was busy with work all day again today, but I'd be remiss not to post something...because today is a special day!

What day is it? Well for anyone who's looked at the tutorial on how to make Start...you might already know the answer...

That's right! 6/1 is Starts birthday! Because 1/6 is Quits, and Start is the mirror opposite of Quit. I know it probably would've made more lore-sense to make their birthday the day they were literally created by the Church...but I really wanted most of their Mii attributes to be an opposite of Quit...so...let's just say there's some weird time dilation going on here.

I know I'm posting this a little late, sorry everyone. But I'd like to do something nice for Start for their birthday...maybe I'll draw them tomorrow or give them some kind of special treatment in-game...? If you guys have any ideas...fire away!

Also this is absolutely insane but I never even introduced Start to 7 yet they showed up to the party. The user who loves Start asked me to introduce them, so I think I’m gonna take this as a sign that I should. Or maybe 7 just really likes parties.

Quitland has gripped me so badly I'm writing fanfiction! It's a shorter piece focused on Jo and Harper and how they were affected by the creation of Start. It has two halves, one focused on Jo and one focused on Harper. I planned to do the whole thing today but only made it through the Jo half.

Here's a snippet from what I've done!

(I needed a reason for why Jo and Harper haven't spoken ever so I made Jo have a burning need to be the most special and important and therefore jealous of Harper for taking that away by being another Quitling)

I have gotten insane enough over Quitland to start having headcanons, and I had one huge headcanon/theory just pop into my head, so I decided to share...

So it's canon that Jo messed up the Start summoning ritual by yelling "Quit!", but how exactly did that mess Start up?

Right before Jo made that decision, he thought about his parents and how much they loved and cared for him, and that was what spurred him to change his mind.

In that moment, his love for his family not only filled him, but spilled out into the ritual, tainting the vessel. Start now contained something they were never meant to have: Love. Not just any love, either, but love for the Quits.

And when this imperfect creation came to Quitland, what was one of the first things they did? Fall in love.

No this is awesome. The very existence of Quitland (other then being an experiment to see what playing this game with multiple clones is like) has become adding more meaning and interpretations to the actions of these 60 clones, so this is perfectly in theme of the series. I love this idea and it definitely plays into Start being a Considerate Buddy very well

I recently played and further 100%ed a game called Slay the Princess. It had such a great emotional impact on me, and I literally couldn’t draw anything but the Princess and TLQ since, so here’s this homage piece. I really really love this game :)
