I've always found it a bit strange they're almost never portrayed as having a relationship similar to Downfall Duo or Time+Twilight, given that Four probably grew up on stories of Sky's exploits and likely looks up to him a lot.

Deltarune fanart through the years!!

(aka as the year 2025 comes to a close i thought it'd be fitting to post deltarune fanart from this year vs. previous ones)

2025 (chapters 3+4):

This one I did change a few details of the titan and I was experimenting with gradient maps...but it is my most recent one.

I'm not particular about this piece, but I'm happy to see the improvement in my art I've undergone since I first played deltarune in 2018 2022:

OKOK genuine ask this time what character do you think deviates most from the original source character in your AU?

ok but to actually answer your question, I would say this Link's most obvious deviation from the typical "Link formula" is his aversion to using a sword. Even though Link trained to be a knight with his friends from a young age, he never was able to pick up the skill, instead relying on the sheikah tech that he would modify. So basically

..yeah.

The only thing is, what happens if a kid known to fight like a "barbarian" pulls the master sword? Well, it's not particularly well received by his elders and himself. And his peers.

...

I'll post more on the sheikah technology that he wears later. Ill just say this: the jewelry he wears isn't just a random design choice.
