w h a t i f . . . the God we worship doesn’t really exist? How did this all started? How did the so-called prophets of God know that Adam and Eve existed? How did God communicate to them if they can’t even see or hear Him? How? How come the Bible said that Adam was created from soil then Eve came out from his rib? How did they even knew that sort of thing? Did Adam or Eve told them that? Also, if they were the first two people who lived here on earth, and they reproduced and reproduced, did they do incest? People always say that “We are all related with one ancestor,” the first two people are Adam and Eve, they reproduced, their offsprings’ continued to reproduce, so does that mean we are all products of incest? If we are, how come we don’t look horrible or disfigured as what the scientists would always say?
How did this life even started? Setting religion and science aside, how did we even exist in this world? How did the planets, the universe, the entire galaxy even existed? How did the people of the past discovered something and just make up some names of their discoveries? How did they manage to do that? Aren’t words in the past too hard to make? Also, where did our language come from? Don’t tell me it’s from the story in the bible called, “The Tower of Babylon.” No, I want to know the real thing. Not the “It all started with our great ancestors, the cavemen,” No, I don’t want that answer. But seriously though, bringing in back religion, if Adam and Eve were the very first people to walk on earth, did they already have a proper way of speaking with each other? Or did they start off like the cavemen? Grunting, squealing, humming, groaning, yeah, that’s how they communicated according to some people. But what I’m really curious about is how did they start to make up words? Ugh, there’s so many unanswered questions roaming in my head!
Now, life and death. Yes, those two. What if, if we lived our lives to the fullest then we died, does that mean we just spent years and years of enjoyment just for death? Also, when we die, where do we go? Heaven? Hell? Afterlife? or just stuck here on earth? Do we reincarnate into something? someone? What? Also, how come people would always say that a dead person is now happy? What if they’re not? What if they still wanted to live and enjoy their lives? What if they’re sad because they passed? What if that person who passed heard you say that they are happy right now, what would happen to you? Would they haunt you? Leave you? Live their dead lives sad and alone? WHAT?!

Hello, hello... you’re all looking very lovely today.
My name is Hestia, the goddess of fire and hearth. I’m single, no boyfriend, nor husband, nor did I give birth to children. How did I stay single? Well, I’m supposedly to be married by two lovely men, Poseidon and Apollo but unfortunately, I refused them and vowed to stay a virgin goddess.
I am the eldest daughter of Kronos and Rhea, I got eaten by my own father, literally, but got back when Zeus defeated him. I got removed from Olympus just to make room for a demi-god. Others say I’m not that important, but I’m okay, I’m cool with it.
I am the goddess of hearth but have no experience in having my own family. Don’t worry, even though I have no family of my own, I am still supportive for you and your family.

PLAY, TRUST, REGRET (An Original Fable)
Once upon a time, there was a small and defenseless mouse. She really loves to play outside until it gets dark. Now, one night, she went out late to play in the woods without her mom’s permission. As she walked deep into the woods, she realizes that rain was pouring. So she ran deep into the woods until she found a house. She knocked on the door begging for the owner to let her in; the front door opens. She went in and can barely see anything inside the house. It was dark and cold. “What are you doing in here this late little mousy?” she hears a deep hiss behind her back. She doesn’t answer. “Oh come on, you know it’s not nice to answer back a question.” It was an old snake. The little mouse quickly ran back to the front door and successfully went out of the door. She ran back to her house and quickly went to her bedroom.
The next day, she went to play again outside. She walked going to the playground and hummed some of her favorite songs. As soon as she was almost near to the playground, she saw a familiar slithering body along the way; it was the old snake from last night. “Hey, you’re the little mousy from last night. Are you going to talk to me now?” he asked. The little mouse ignored him and ran back to her house.
The next day, three birds surrounded the little defenseless mouse. The birds were picking on the mouse. She was crying so hard, the birds were even more tempted to tease her more. The old snake saw her and rescued her. The snake eliminated the birds one by one and ate them in front of the little mouse. “Now that I saved your life, will you talk to me now?” the mouse was amazed at the snake’s action and nodded at him. “Thank you.” She said with her voice so cute and squeaky. Rain started to pour on the ground when tears started welling up her eyes. “Why don’t we go back to my place to keep you dry, yeah?” with out thinking twice, the little mouse rode on the snake’s back and they slithered all the way back into the deep woods. After that, the little mouse was never been found.
The little mouse regretted that day when she went together with the snake. She shouldn’t have trusted that snake right away.

DON’T GO NEAR THE LAKE
Once upon a time, there was a legend that a man-eating monster is living in the lake. Of course, the people living near the lake would believe it and what they did was place a sign that says: WARNING: DON’T GO NEAR THE LAKE.
Now, one day, there was little boy who rebelled against the sign and took a long, nice swim in the lake. As he continued on swimming happily, he felt a slimy thing that touched his leg. He looked under the water and saw a large, dark figure near him. The figure swam closer to him but the little boy wasn’t afraid, but instead, he was really curious about the large figure. He also swam closer to the figure and took a closer look at it. The large figure submerged from the water and showed itself to the little boy.
It was what the legend says, a large aquatic, man-eating monster. The little boy looked at the monster with full admiration. The monster had a pale blue color, large sized scales; almost likely the same size of an average human hand, and a really big mouth size that can really swallow a man.
The little boy reached out his hand to pat the monster’s head and the monster accepted it. The little boy smiled and instantly decided to make the monster as his very own pet and named it Nessy. He didn’t tell the citizens living near the lake about him making the monster as his pet because they will surely criticize him and kill his pet.
The little boy and Nessy enjoyed each other’s presence, they hang-out together a lot then one day, a little girl saw the little boy and Nessy playing in the lake. The little girl told the citizens about it and they furiously caught the little boy and Nessy.
They captured Nessy and killed it in front of the little boy. The little boy screamed and cried as they killed his pet. Blood spreading all over the lake, Nessy’s head being left near the shore, the little boy patted the head once more.
“Don’t worry Nessy, I will take vengeance on them, for you and only you.”
MOLLY -a (made-up) sequel of “Pipay”
-Flashback-
“Pipay, I’m sorry if I will tell you this but you’re not going to work for me from now on.” Emil’s mom, Miss Monica says to Pipay. Her eyes went wide and began writing on the notepad that Miss Monica gave her saying, “WHY?! What’s the reason why are you firing me? I love working here!” she teared the paper and gave it to Miss Monica.
“Pipay,” Miss Monica sighed “Emil is sick and tired of the stuff that you’re doing, like staining his shirt and breaking his cologne that Lulu gave him.” Pipay sighed and tears began to build up on her eyes.
She remembers Emil’s shirt and cologne, but that wasn’t her who did those things, it was Lulu, his sassy yet terrible girlfriend. Pipay always hated that girl. every time that Emil or Molly will leave the room, she would slap Pipay, pull her hair to the couch or wall then start saying, “Stay away from my man, twat.”
“Pipay, are you listening to me?” Pipay snapped back to reality. “You are leaving tomorrow, okay?” Miss Monica says to Pipay with an apologetic look. She just nodded and wiped her now-tear-stained-face and walked office or mini-library. She ran towards her room passing Molly and Emil’s room then shuts her door closed with full force.
-Next day-
“Pipay?” someone knocked on her door. She stayed quiet for a few minutes then the person on the other side says, “Pipay, please open the door.” She suddenly recognized the voice, it was Molly’s. She got up from the floor and answered the door, revealing Molly with bloodshot eyes and messy hair. What happened to him? Pipay thoughts to herself.
“So, I heard you’re leaving today.” She pressed her lips together and gave him a nod. “Oh, so it’s true.” She nods again. “Don’t just give me a nod or two Pipay, talk to me, I know you can!” He grabbed Pipay’s shoulders as he told her those words. She started to tear up and began shaking her head from side to side.
“Oh, oh Pipay, I didn’t mean to make you cry.” He apologized. She shakes her head again, gesturing that he should not apologize. “No, really Pipay, I’m sorry.” He hugged her tightly, burying his head on the crook of Pipay’s neck. “I love you.” He said quietly, making sure that she didn’t hear it but failed. She stood frozen on her place, processing those three words he said. He let Pipay go and gave her a quick kiss on the corner of her lips. “I-I didn’t mean to.” They stood there awkwardly for a while then Molly furiously ran to his room, closing his door shut.
“Pipay, your Aunt is here!” Miss Monica called. She took one more look at her small room then grabbed her duffel bag and went out of the room. As she entered the living room, She saw Miss Monica and Aunt Jenny chatting. She knocked at the wooden wall to get their attention. “Oh Pipay, you’re here.” Miss Monica smiled. “Pipay! I missed you so much!” Aunt Jenny exclaimed as she hugged Pipay really tight.
Aunt Jenny is 6 years older than Pipay so, that makes her 22 years old by now. She’ really funny and preppy but when she’s mad, she’s like a devil. “So, I guess this is goodbye then?” Miss Monica says with a warming smile. Pipay smiled back as she nods.
“Let’s go then Pipay.” Aunt Jenny grabbed Pipay’s arm and said her good bye to Miss Monica. “So we’re taking the cab going to my home, okay?” Pipay nodded. “Come on Julieta, you can’t be serious.” She said. Pipay just gave her a quizzical look as she placed her hand on her face, like a face palm thingy.
“Julieta, I know that you are mute since you were 10 but now, you really need to speak up.” Pipay sighed as her Aunt Jenny called on a cab. She went in first then Pipay followed from behind. She looked at the window of Molly’s room and saw him, crying as the cab that Aunt Jenny and Pipay were riding drove away to their destination.
-10 years later-
Pipay went through a speech therapy and it really helped her to speak up again.
“Aunt Jenny? Aunt Jenny?” Pipay called as she enters the house. “Yes darling?” Aunt Jenny said as she peeked her head up from the couch. “I got the job!” Pipay exclaimed. ”OH MY GOSH! REALLY?!” She jumped up from the couch. “Yes! They said they liked my attitude, my personality and my training skills.”
“So, when will you start?” she asked with an excited tone. “I’ll start tomorrow. Gosh, I’m so excited.” Pipay says as she clapped her hands like a retarded seal. “Well, okay then. Oh, by the way, are you hungry? I made pizza.” Aunt Jenny says. “Really? Where?” Pipay asks as she started walking to the kitchen. “It’s in the microwave.” She opened the microwave and saw three slices of pizza. “Oh good, it’s still hot.”
-Next Day-
“Okay, Aunt Jenny, I’m going now.” Pipay says as she opened the front door. “Okay darling, take care.” She waved goodbye. “I will!” She walked to her car and hopped in to go to the Zoo.
As she arrives to the zoo, she secured her car then went to the office. “Good Morning, Sir Webber.” she greeted her boss. “Oh good morning Julieta! Ready for your first day?” he asks. “Really, really ready for today, Sir.” She smiles. “Okay so you’ll be at Hebra’s,” He said “is that okay with you?”
“Yep! I’m pretty okay with that.” she assures him as she starts walking to the lady’s locker room. “Oh and also, you’ll be working with Molly.” She stopped dead on her tracks when Mr. Webber mentioned the name ‘Molly’. “Wait a minute, Molly?” She asks, trying to be sure that she heard the right name. “Yea, ‘Molly’. He started last year so, he can be your guide.” She nodded and quickly went to the changing room to change into her uniform. As she finished changing, she ran outside, looking for the Hebra’s stables.
When she finally found the Hebra’s stables, she saw a guy grooming one of the Hebra’s. The same hair, same face, same eyes, same lips that kissed her, his body even got toned. Oh my god. Pipay thoughts to herself. The guy who was grooming the Hebra stopped when he saw the ‘new Pipay’ standing still, dead on her tracks.
“Pipay?” He asked in shock.
“Molly.”
END...
The Regretted Move
I am so tired, so tired, that my legs and feet are about to break in pieces.
My heart has been pounding in my chest for the longest time.
Running around this big and dark forest makes me want to stop and cry right now.
I just want to leave this horrible place.
“You can’t run away from me for that long!” yells the man behind me as I keep on running away from him.
My sight is becoming blurry, and my breathing becoming heavy.
I can’t do this anymore.
My pace became slower
Then I stopped in front a huge tree to catch my breath.
I can no more hear the crunching sounds of leaves on the ground.
I looked at my back, the man was not there anymore,
I then again looked at my front and saw a big, shiny blade in front of me.
“Got you.”
Then everything went black.
