First installment of my valkos sister oc story! I hope yall enjoy it!!

The crowd was lively. The music was loud and techno as ever as the smell of alcohol and sweat fill the arena. A dark purple hue moved around the room filled with electricity of young people finding an escape.

Roxy amongst the crowd was weaving through trying to not snag people as she walks through. Finally at an opening shes almost at a wall to take a breath of fresh air before shes knocked on her ass by what seemed like a 6 foot moving wall. Her note pad falls out with her almost smashing her phone in her hand landing on it.

“Hey watch your shoulders tree trunk!” Roxy shouts. She looks up to see a tall man, brown hair, dark purple eyes that were shaped like a lost puppies, and a casual jacket fit defiantly not fit for a scene like this. He looks down at you and before he says anything he just looks at your leg braces.

Granted they look like a 1900’s pair so you get stares a lot. “What you never seen a cripple before?” Roxy says rolling her eyes before getting up in the most non casual manner. That a bit rude of them. Well i double apologize for hitting you in that case. Im Caleb.” He holds out a hand as if this were a casual convo in an office. Roxy takes his hand and shakes it. “Im Roxy, i come here often enough to know my way around when i dont bump into people.” That makes Caleb laugh.

“Whats in your little notebook?” He asks pointing to it. Its a small plain black one filled with writing and worn down. Roxy puts it in her skirt pocket. “I write a column about the local nightlife in linkon so people can know where to find a good community. I usually come out every other weekend depending on what events they have going on.” She loudly exclaims over the crowd while crossing her arms. Caleb smiles and nods “that’s pretty cool! Ill have to check it out sometime. I work as a pilot so im not use to the night life scene so im glad i found someone who knows their way around. My sister is here and she asked me to pick her up.” Caleb gestures to the bumping crowd as Roxy nods at the crowd before looking back.

Calebs heart is racing. Why is he feeling like this. They sit and smile for a bit at each other. Caleb is enamored by this girl, the way she caries her self so carefree and confident despite being so different. Caleb opens his mouth to say something before feeling two arms wrapped around him. “Caleb youre here! Im so glad to see you!” A girl jumps into his arms. Calebs shocked state fades after seeing his sister safe. Caleb looks over and Roxy disappears out of thin air. Why does his chest hurt now?

“Dammit” Roxy quietly exclaims out side. She’s stuck in a tree by her foot. She pulls out her phone to text her brother, that was until she heard her window open. Valko looks out at you and chuckles. “Val its not funny come help me!” Roxy whisper yells at him. “Im sorry i just think its funny you almost get stuck every time. Ill come help dont worry.” Valko says before climbing out the window. He crawls over grabbing Roxy’s ankle before gently de tangling her leg. He picks her up before climbing back in the room. “I can walk my self thank you very much.” Roxy says before getting put down on her carpet. “Clearly not if you keep getting stuck in a tree almost every time you come back home” roxy rolls her eyes.

“So how was tonight in the party scene?” Valko asks before sitting roxy down on her bed and going to grab her braces. Roxy swats at him before taking them off herself. “It was fine, i had fun until some guy bumped into me and knocked me over” Roxy smiles. “Thats rude did he help you up at least?” Valko asks before sitting at your desk chair. As roxy gets one off she sits for a moment and looks at valko. “No i got myself up because i can do it myself. But he did apologize twice, and was very kind which was new. Most people ignore me when i fall.” Roxy says softly smiling before making eye contact noticing the silence. Valkos eye twitched a bit.

He could read something but not quite sure what. He knows deep down this day would come where his sister would like guys, and he wants to protect her knowing shes more vulnerable than most people. He also knows his sister would fight right back at him for being over protective and theres nothing he could do. He sighs. “Well im glad youre safe at least. Get some rest you have work tomorrow. Ill drive you in so you can sleep in.” Valko says before getting up and ruffling Roxys hair like a child. Roxy giggles “good night val, dont wake up dad.” She says before he walks out and closes the door.

Roxy undoes her other brace and rubs her knees and hips before standing up to undress holding onto her dresser next to her bed. She reaches into her pockets to throw everything on her dresser before not feeling her pen. She pulls her pockets inside out and cant find it. Its a plain pink pen but thats the only pen she uses. “Dammit”

Caleb gets to grandmas and walks his sister in. He walks upstairs with her before taking off her shoes and helps her brush her teeth, and wiping off her makeup with a wipe. He tucks her in before kissing her head and turning to leave. Caleb heads over to his room and closes the door. He sighs while looking at his clock. “Its 3:24 already?” He says quietly and with such tiredness in his voice. He takes off his jacked and throws it on his chair before hearing something hit the floor. He turns around and sees a small pink pen on the floor suddenly. Caleb remembers he never gave Roxy her pen only her notebook. He picks it up examining it. Its so simple but yet he cant stop staring at it. He puts it back in his jacket pocket hoping he would eventually return it. He continued getting into pajamas and getting ready for bed. He gets in and turns off his lamp. Yet he cant sleep.

His mind is busy. Caleb is reminiscing about the night, about Roxy. For a quick interaction she keeps playing in his mind, how she talks, how she looks, how she holds herself as a person. Caleb turns to his side facing his jacket. He hesitates as he grabs the pen back out. He feels stupid for examining it as if he would see something new or feel different seeing it. Caleb puts it down on his nightstand, laying back down just staring at it. His eyelids eventually give out on him and he drifts asleep.

Physical description: Roxy stands at 5’4”, she has a light olive complexion that matches well with her dusty dark red wavy hair that ends mid back. She has a curvy slim figure although her posture tends to lean on either side slightly due to her hips needing to switch to relieve pain on the other.
