But I also found a source for the article screenshotted above! And folks it’s WILD. It’s an incredibly interesting read if you happen to love hearing about niche hobby drama. It’s also just a fantastically written article!

The parts I find the most interesting are about how conservative the cat fanciers association is. This isn’t even all of the parts that talk about that.

People are so mad about this cat spefically because he has female colors. An animal who couldn’t choose how it was born. This is happening in Texas by the way. Hm. I wonder how they treat trans people over there?

The Dunk Shrunk Event, 2023

In the wake of the recently released publication by Engelman, the famous Dunkleosteus got its size cut from the previously humongous 7 metres long beast of an Arthrodire have now downsized into 3 - 5 metres long Hydrogen bomb shaped fat fish. Here are my rendition of the new dunk, honestly, I am fond of the new form of this animal.

On other platforms, such as twitter and instagram, I have been called a prophet, for the gift of premonition have been bestowed upon me in the year of 2021 because I created this round fellow, aptly named "Dunkball", it was a local sensation when it first conceived.

I’ve just become aware of fish stocking… and that it’s done by airplane ! ?!

How do the fish survive the fall?

How do they count 57,000 Muskellunge that are only 0.5 inches long?

I can’t tell what’s more amazing than me : air dropping 963 rainbow trout (10” each) or delivering 2,284,000 walleye to one location.

Just imagines government worker… 2,283,992…2,283,993… 2,283,994…*phone rings* …. Ummm… hmm. 1…2… 3…

it's called Airdrop Fish Stocking and while it's not the most common method of stocking fish, it's often used for areas where the target bodies of water are remote or lack infrastructure for large trucks!

and it's exactly what it sounds like, yeah.

no worries though, the stocked fish are small enough to survive the drop! just like how a mouse can survive a fall off a skyscraper, a small fish can survive a MUCH longer drop than you'd expect :)

they are absolutely having a very bad day about it, though.
