Here’s an updated non pencil-looking version of ‘Smith’, the Rick and Morty/Seinfeld crossover I made a few months back.

My Dogs Did me some Dogs. You got your breaky dog, your lunch and dinner dog, your dessert dog and your dong dog.
Tired Old Roadkill I kept seeing shredded up tires on the side of the road and thinking they were animal carcasses.
Onter (Oh Enter) I was mentoring this kid in a highschool for a few months. He would regularly scribble his tag in the back of his work book. I decided to digitise and stylise it for him for a bit of fun. He identifies as Indigenous Australian, so I took the black, red and yellow from the Aboriginal flag.

Baymax for Overwatch
I’m not a concept artist, so I’ve used Baymax as an example. This little mash up was Inspired by the next kind of hero I would like to see arrive in Overwatch. A Blizzney crossover would be amazing, but what I really want is a Support Tank. Think the Prot/Holy Paladin of WotLK in WoW.
Ultimate: Like Symmetra, Baymax has a two choices, which are both based on enhanced versions of his base abilities.
Kill Mode - Baymax can no longer use his healing abilities. Shoot and control his rocket-fist, knocking enemies back and dealing a small amount of damage.
Emergency Response - Baymax can no longer use offensive abilities. Fly towards a nearby ally (2 x charges) and magnetise to their every move, activating Hyper-Warmth. (a Zenyatta-like Transcendence which is exclusively beneficial to the single ally he has chosen to shadow).
Rocket Fist: Shoot fist that locks onto an enemy and deals a considerable amount of damage. Like Reinhardts fire-strike, except it will follow the enemy so long as they remain in line of sight- though, similar to Zenyatta’s Orbs- there is a slight delay before the rocket returns to Baymax after the enemy is out of LOS.
Launch: Fly rapidly upwards. Similar to Pharah’s Jump Jet, but not as powerful. The advantage is though that it results in the opetion of a Mercy-like Angelic Descent.
Warmth: Baymax heals allies within a nearby radius. This is Similar to Lucio’s Healing Boost, except that allies need to be within melee-range of Baymax to receive this benefit.
Retreat: Baymax deflates and retreats/transforms into a box on the ground. This functions similar to may’s cryo-freeze in that he becomes momentarily invulnerable. However he does not regenerate health (apart from blue bars). It serves more as a stalling tactic or camouflage.
FaZter This is my second finished illustration on the iPad Pro. It started as a squiggle and turned into this. I guess motorbikes are on the brain since I finally have a bike again after not owning one for a few years.
Dot Head
I was having a bit of a sensory overload while working up in the Northern Territory. Simultaneously I was being inspired by Indigenous Australian dot art, so I did a little scribble.
The Next Great Animated Series!
Last month I submitted a pitch video for Ru & The Egg to The Next Great Animated Series competition. Tongal, in partnership with Project Greenlight Digital Studios are creating an animation incubator to develop a pilot episode for one fan-voted series. First round voting commences on the 9th of January. I’ll yell at you then. In the meantime here is a sneak peak of the video my buddy Karl and I put together.
Scorpion for ‘Ru & The Egg’
One of our favourite re-occurring giant bugs is Scorpion. He’s about the size of a car. He’s a liar liar, pants on fire… but it’s not his fault, because truth bending is a Scorpion’s best defence, everyone knows that... oh and the bone melting poison. Scorpion is a socially awkward lonely guy who really just wants to fit in- he’s just not sure which reality he wants fit into. One of his favourite hobbies is collecting bones. Which is super creepy, but as you can see, it puts a smile on his dial. Some say he’s trying to build a friend. Scorpion also asked us to mention that he’s rich... and that he already has lots of friends that like hanging out with him.
7-Eleven Day Competition Entry I wondered what the logo would look like if it was Seven-11... so I made it. Then I took it down to my local to take a photo to use as my entry to try and win $711.
Ru & Egg in a Colossal Worm Chase
This is not a Halloween twist- Ru and Egg’s world is already scary enough because It’s riddled with Jurassic-sized bugs! Also I’m 25-years-old and this is my first GIF. Feeling a little late to the game.
Bugmans Bugmans is a coming of age comedy series about a varied group of teenagers navigating family, school, work, expectations, hormones, pheromones and taking care of the bug-face on their chest. At the centre of the show is Excalibur the Moth and his gruff old dad Durendal. However, the show wouldn’t be complete without Excalibur’s entourage; Cap, Buzz and Keith.
Excalibur for Bugmans
Excalibur is the central character for my original series ‘Bugmans’. He is a teenage Moth who doesn’t fit the typical Moth mould. Moth men are manly men. They strive for supreme masculinity and they value tradition. Not Excalibur though, he’s a chilled out sensitive guy. In the Bugmans world It’s typical for Moths to work in the lumber industry, but Excalibur doesn’t want to be stuck in the dank forest picking splinters out of his wings. He wants to frolic in the glowing flower fields with the Butterflies, taking in the smells and collecting pollen.
Keith for Bugmans Keith is a Spider exchange-student who struggles to control his violent mood swings. Spiders are known to have high levels of testosterone, so it’s natural for a growing boy to experience these hormonal changes, but there aren’t many Spiders in this new country, so it’s hard for other Bugmans to understand.
Cap for Bugmans
Cap is a Caterpillar who should have Butterflied by now. All of his peers have wings, just not him. But this is not a story of anguish... he doesn’t want to become a butterfly. He likes being on the ground. Plus, getting your wings comes with all sorts of responsibilities and expectations. What if your wings aren’t the right colour? Or they are too small. Nope, Cap is pretty comfortable where he is.
Buzz for Bugmans
Buzz is a Fly that struggles to hide is natural grotesque urges. In the Bugmans world Flies are looked down upon and shamed into acting civilized. Buzz tries his hardest to fit in, but it’s always a struggle.
