This thread is almost eight years old and it has damn well earned its place among the Tumblr pantheon as a Heritage Post™️
A roguelike game where every level you can pick one of three upgrades and buy upgrades at the store. And nothing else.
There's no other gameplay except for the upgrade mechanic. You pick upgrades that improve your upgrades to let you pick better upgrades.
You want to create synergies that increase the value of your items so you could sell them and buy more expensive items.

There're upgrades for that.
It's not an incremental game or an idle game since those have a predetermined upgrade-tree and a timed passive income.
I'm talking about a roguelike with procedural stages. But every stage is the store.
You need to beat a score and/or other condition to move on to the next stage, and you get points from your items/relics/consumables/etc.
Then you get to pick one of three free upgrades and get a new store.
That cat is legitimately getting a state funeral, several statues, a weepy obituary from The Guardian and an Elton John tribute song when he goes.

A lot of "progressives" on this hellsite in particular would benefit from understanding that all oppression is ultimately economic in nature (that is, the primary axis is RICH versus POOR). Other forms of bigotry, including racism, sexism/misogyny and ableism exist to reinforce the division between rich and poor (and by "rich," I mean billionaires and CEOs, not surgeons, actors or anybody who simply owns a house). So when discussing any kind of bigotry, the first question has to be:
"How does this bigotry benefit the RICH?"
Racism initially existed to rationalize chattel slavery (free labour for the RICH), and today is also used to convince poor whites that non-whites receiving social benefits comes out of their pocket (the RICH deflecting their faults onto another party)
Ableism benefits the RICH because, to the RICH, a POOR person's only value is their labour, "productivity," and "usefulness." If you're not "useful," you're irrelevant to the system controlled by the RICH.
Misogyny exists because conditioning men to hate women sets them up to accept other forms of hatred (racism, ableism), and with it imperialism and authoritarianism. And conditioning women to hate themselves makes them believe the notion that their only purpose is childbirth. Capitalism benefits from producing as many workers as possible; that's the real reason people like Musk are so concerned about birth rates and shit
Trans women, men and enbies are oppressed because the RICH want to subject us to the above anti-male and anti-female prejudice. Note that the "anti-male" prejudice spoken of here is still (trans)misogyny because it's rooted in the idea that being feminine is contemptible, especially in those who aren't meant to be feminine in their eyes.
Bigotry stems from the bigot's perception of a person, regardless of what they really are. So if a misogynist sees their victim as a woman, it's misogyny, no matter if the victim is a cis woman, a feminine cis man, a trans woman, a trans man (whom Patriarchy sees as a woman), or enbies of any kind.
All propaganda to be racist, sexist/misogynist, ableist, etc. exists for the benefit of the RICH, and is spread by them to that end. No one, including those one might see as "privileged," is inherently, irredeemable evil. One is only "evil" vis-à-vis how they relate to the RICH/POOR axis.
