I always imagined Yuu either hiding somewhere and warning people/givings directions, doing distractions, or just throwing whatever random stuff they find in the area. Imagine you're trying to come up with whichever spell seems like the most offensive while trying to fight a literal walking calamity, and then a folding chair suddenly flies and strikes said calamity straight at the side of the head
