I just had to place a grocery order, and we had to order a few more expensive items by our standard because we're still recovering from being sick, and I have some side effect issues from the antibiotics that I need stuff to take care of. That being said, we're needing help still. We have less than half of what we need for even just the deposit for an apartment and it dwindles every day we have to pay for the hotel. Shelters aren't an option for reasons you can dm me about, and its too cold outside for us to be out at night.

A friend is sending us a tent, and we will be looking for somewhere we can stay in the tent for cheaper, but campgrounds here still cost money. And we need money for the apartment. I love that Tumblr is actually a community. Your blog will be quite poor and boring if you only post your own stuff. Most of our blogs contain countless reblogs and discussions with other people on the website. This is communication and appreciation of each other’s creativity, thoughts, sketches and etc. It’s one thing to mindlessly like tons of photos a day like TikTok and Instagram offer you, and another to reblog and add hashtags and some comments about how the post made you feel or what you think you could add to a joke, a headcanon, an au, a story, an art… It makes this hellsite feel genuine.

Tuesday, September 21st: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill disaster, who’s in desperate need of help, as I'm really struggling to pay my rent this month.

As most of you are already aware from my previous post, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under a review, which is due to my worsening mental health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And at the moment, I'm currently struggling to get by, as my application for Disability (PIP) was declined and I am currently awaiting an appointment for a WCA (Work Capability Asessment) from the DWP to assess my mental and physical health, and my debt from overdue bills is piling up to an amount that I'm really struggling with.

I know this is a huge ask, and I'm completely heartbroken to be asking for help again, but I still desperately need some as I don't have anyone else to turn to, and I don't receive my benefit until the end of the month which won't fully cover my rent and bills, and will leave me incredibly short.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling right now.

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back
