As an autistic person, GOD I LOVE SHANE HOLLANDER. Genuinely, probably my favourite autistic character, and by far the one that reflects my experience with Autism the most.
Just, every time he caught onto a joke a little too late, or didn't know what to do in a social situation, or said the wrong thing, God I felt that. It just felt real and authentic which was so refreshing when most autistic characters feel like nothing more than a grab-bag of diagnostic traits and a "treat people different to you with kindness!" message slapped on them.
And just in general getting to see a high-masking autistic character who desperately tries to fit in as they're "supposed to" and only manages to get it about half right. REAL.

Here’s a thought, I strongly believe that Dr Max is not only bi but he’s also demisexual, he’s still single at his age, and we haven’t heard anything about past partners. I used to work on ships, the crew quarters are very close and you can’t go off the ship after watch every night, so this does lead to a greater interaction amongst the crew, especially staying up talking late into the night. This could give Max the time to form that deep emotional connection with Avery and eventually Tristan so he can feel that attraction to them in a way that his peripatetic existence beforehand has never given him.

Slightly concerning news from America that the Supreme Court have ruled former presidents are entitled to absolute immunity from prosecution for official acts whilst taken in office, but have no immunity for unofficial acts.
Meaning the federal election interference case against Donald Trump will return to lower court which will then decide on how to apply this ruling.
The moment the judiciary are giving former, or current presidents, absolute immunity from prosecution is the moment the country is slipping dangerously into dictatorship territory. And makes a mockery of the checks and balances within the US.
This is an emergency, it’s a drop all things and action stations moment. If we don’t do everything to get as many people voting Democrat as possible, then it is the end of our beloved country. Make no mistake, this country belongs to us, it belongs to women, it belongs to the LGBT+ community, it belongs to minorities, it belongs to the disabled and it belonged to the Native Americans long before it belonged to us. Now fight for it, find your local Democrats, get your sleeves rolled up, get doorknocking, have those difficult conversations and bring it home, not for Joe, but for all of us. Fight like Hell!
