Sometimes I think about the man working the cinema ticket counter circa 2009, noticing how obviously giddy I am and asking āteam edward or team jacob??ā, then me gushing āteam jacob!!!ā as I babble on for 20 seconds while the tickets print about why jacob is obviously Superior, and he laughs with genuine kindness and sincerely wishes us a good time at the movie

say whatever you want about twilight movies but the first movie being nearly completely in cool tones while new moon is completely in warm tones to represent the difference between edward and jacob aka vampire vs werewolf was so peak. the cool tones in twilight grouped bella with the cullens since she was pale and looked kind of dead, but the warm tones in new moon showed the great contrast between how unlike humans cullens were, and how bella, with her little tanned, blushing face, didn't belong to them. Not yet, at least.

when i first got into Twilight a couple of years ago I was trying to avoid spoilers since I was watching through the movies with my dad (his idea btw) anyway pretty early on I came across the name renesmee and fully thought for WEEKS that that was the ship name for Bella's mom and Edward's mom. didn't even question it.

I genuinely wonder about this because in Midnight Sun Edward is always like "What is she thinking???" and in Twilight Bella is like "Edward Edward Edward"
