I want it to turn out that Kalu has been Dragon’s deep cover agent in Cipher Pol for years. Before the Water-7/Galley La assignment.

On an early CP mission to assassinate a prominent Revolutionary, Kaku was captured and Dragon broke through CP’s conditioning/indoctrination. Lake joined up with the Revolutionaries, and he was sent back to Cipher Pol as a deep cover agent.

Question for One Piece lore experts.

  From what research I’ve found, mostly though wikis, I have a question or two about the CP9 members. From what I have found, most of them (Spandam and Kalifa being exceptions) are orphans raised by the World Government, and trained in Rokushiki. To me, all of this implies some of them are orphans taken by Cipher Pol, and are trained and mentally conditioned to align with the World Government’s goals and be assassins.

Am I off the mark, here?

I’ll say it: I don’t think Adrien is a Sentimonster.  I think it’s a very interesting AU idea because I have a strange fascination with ‘created being’ stories sometimes.  There’s a lot of fanfic potential in the theory; I just don’t think it’s canon. I am vaguely reminded of W.I.T.C.H.and Caleb, at least the comic version.
