connor came here to get answers after fraser and him had been actively trying for a baby for close to a year now and hes honestly regretting it

years and years of learning to accept who he is as an unconventional omega of learning how to accept love from the kindest alpha hes ever known and now hes being told that hes useless

his duty as an omega, of giving his alpha, his mate, a child and he cant even do it

“options?”

“yes, there are several options for infertile omegas to still have a child. for example some choose to inseminate their eggs in a laboratory to mature before transferring them back into the uterus. but in your case since a fertilized egg is unable to plant into your uterus lining the best course of action would be surrogacy.”

connor wasnt listening he couldnt he didnt want to hear about how he wouldnt even be able to fulfill his duty as an omega because he was defective and his body wasnt right and that everyone was right about him that he wasnt a real omega and that one day his alpha would leave him after he found a real omega and had his fun an omega who was smaller than him dainty and pretty not one with a fucked up mind and muscular arms that rivaled his own and certainly not a fucked up body that couldnt give him fucking kids

“would you like time to discuss it with your alpha?”

“….yeah. yeah we’ll talk about it”

“his” alpha his kind and wonderful alpha who loves him despite all his flaws who could calmly get him out og his own head when he spiraled about how bad his team was doing or his several injuries impacting his play

would he even want to be his alpha anymore? when hes already had to deal with how unconventional connor is with how he had to deal with his crash outs and insecurities and now this

just another thing to the several hundred things on the list of what makes connor a fucking failure as an omega

fraser wouldnt be his alpha anymore hed be crazy to stay with an infertile omega incapable of giving him a child a product of their love he wouldnt want him anymore

that was reality and it was only matter of time before fraser would leave him

any sensible alpha would.

Have you ever like wonder if sometimes mack trying to figure everything out inside that beautiful head of his about bedmint age gap? (Ps: there is no such thing as a gap! Only one year apart!)

So mack is connor’s best friend, connor is mack’s best friend. They’ve been best friend since the longest time they can remember.

One day Connor told mack that he’s dating fraser. Which is, cool. Fraser’s a good guy. Not much of a talker to mack, but whatever makes his best friend happy, then he is happy.

However, he can’t shrug off the idea of fraser being the same age of aiden, and mack is the same age of bryce—fraser’s brother. So like if fraser were aiden, bryce were mack. Okay okay, cool. But connor is the same age of will, tho. Does that mean, its just like—will dating aiden…?

Puffft thats hilarious, why would will date aiden. Yeah why would…

“Why would you date aiden?”

Will turns his head slowly to mack, “why would I—what?” Completely taken aback by his boyfriend’s unpredictable question.

“Why would you date aiden? Tell me,”

“Baby, why would I date aiden?”

“Yeah, exactly,” Mack pulls out his phone and dials Connor real fast, “Con, I do not like this idea,”

Will’s puzzled, Connor’s confused, Fraser’s trying to figure out why’s Connor’s confused, and Mack has a question to figure out.

if you were to decide what animals ur ships(willmack, bedmint, etc) would be in a hybrid au, what animals would they be?

i love hearing what animals other people think of these aus so i’m curious:)

i think mack would make a wonderful bunny, despite will being the one that has the teeth for it. he would have pretty floppy ears and a bushy tail that will would absolutely love to tug on. his foot would thump whenever he’s happy or excited, which would be an almost constant around will. will himself would be a dog or even a wolf, his attentive ears twitching at the slightest sound and his tail wagging wildly whenever he’s excited, his sharp canines glinting between his lips when he’d smirk, growling whenever another predator hybrid gets close to mack.

fraser would be a bear, no questions asked, big and warm and gentle until probed, then he’d turn deadly. he would have pretty round ears poking out of his curls and giant paw-like hands that he’d steer connor around with. connor would be a cat, the standoffish kind that glares at you silently when they want you to pet them but don’t know how to ask for it. he would have pretty pointy ears and a tail that would almost always be either wrapped around his own leg or in his hands as he fidgets with it, unless he’s with someone he trusts, like fraser or mack (not frank, because frank the dog would just make fun of him for it) then it would be swinging swiftly behind him or wrapped around some part of them. he would purr whenever he’s curled up with fraser, a little awkward and staticky, and silently headbutt him for pets.

samisa would both undoubtedly be dogs. misa with his sharp little puppy teeth that would gnaw on anything they could possibly latch onto. (ie: any part of sam’s body they can reach) his ears would be floppy and he would get embarrassed about how much his tail wags when he’s around sam. sam would be less puppy-like, but he would still be a giant oaf. the kind of big dog that still thinks they’re a lap-dog, just big and clumsy with pointish ears and a tail that’s constantly wagging no matter what he does, and giant paw-like hands.

we’ve already talked about that one together, but gabe would most definitely be a fawn, some kind of male doe. with his big beautiful doe eyes that would make it so that no one could ever refuse him anything. his bushy tail and pretty ears would be very twitchy and he would get embarrassed about it, and they would be a light shade of brown with white spots. matt could be be a giant dog, very similar to sam, clumsy and still thinking they’re a lap-dog, but the difference is that he would be more mindful of his size and try to be as gentle as he could with gabe. but the other option i’m very fond of is a stag. imposing and with gorgeous antlers that would bump into everything and that gabe would help him shed the velvet off of, but he would ultimately be the gentlest and clumsiest of stags, still incredibly fawn-like and playful, and quite honestly a little ridiculous, but incredibly protective!

i love you for asking this!! i’ve centred this post around my main ships, but i could probably go on and on about others too.

It's been so long since I was in the hockey rpf fandom and like

I love how even in all those years and it's been like 10+, the type of fic for some of the pairings is still the same. The vibe of the fics for the pairings (romantic/platonic/somewhere inside or outside of those) all kind of hit the same.
