I’ve seen a couple people float around the idea of Jason having a chatty ginger cat in aus where Roy isn’t around, but how come I’ve never seen someone give Jason-less Roy a big black mutt he picked up at the shelter who actually used to be his childhood buddy’s dog who was presumed dead after getting dog napped or otherwise disappearing but who he refuses to give back because it turns out the guy came back on his own but got dumped at the shelter after biting the new kid. And of course, being an ill mannered big dog with a history of biting, he was placed on doggie death row, so now Roy has this huge, very ornery dog he’s carting around with him everywhere because damn if he’ll give up on him like Ollie gave up on Roy.

did not expect my rage post to reach this level so to add to my nearly incoherent screed, sustainable housing was mentioned as the most immediate issue now that the school has been moved. if you ask any tribal elder, council member, or leader, they will say that one of the most important growth factors for tribes is the ability to send their kids out for education and experience, and for those members to come back to help their people when they can. quileute tribal members actively want to move back to la push, but nearly all housing is either exorbitantly priced or is owned and operated as airb&bs/tourism rentals. by fundraising for and building their own housing developments, they can build in long-term capital as well as bring in talented, educated tribal members to help their people.

I moved to a place with no other Jews and I didnt know anyone so I kept making 2 challot every friday and handing one hot from the oven fresh challah to a random neighbour every week. I made friends quickly and if im ever home late my neighbours walk my dog for me

On jewish holidays i bring in the greek treats i grew up with for my officemates, and they dont have a single clue what each holiday is but they love it and give me gifts for their holidays too
