The star of the tropical glasshouse at this time of year is the vigorous, evergreen climber Strongylodon macrobotrys (jade vine, emerald creeper) from the Philippines. The amazingly coloured blue-green flowers hang in racemes up to 90cm in length.

MANDATED FERTILITY COVERAGE - Meeting with State Reps and Lawmakers next month!

We are scheduling a call with some of the clinics and professionals in Washington state in January to discuss introducing legislation and find out if anyone has relationships with state lawmakers who may be open to sponsoring such a bill. 

Volunteers like me will reach out to our own lawmakers to educate them about infertility and enlist their support of the bill.  It’s these one-on-one or small group conversations with lawmakers that make the most impact – the constituent’s voice is the most important one!

I can’t wait to see those 2 lines on a pregnancy test…

I can’t wait to see my husbands face when I tell him we finally did it, we finally got pregnant…

I can’t wait to hear the heart beat for the first time…

I can’t wait for morning sickness, fatigue, exhaustion, peeing my pants a little, and stretch marks…

I can’t wait to feel life inside of me and watch my husbands face when he feels the kick for the first time…

I can’t wait to share my story with family and friends…

I can’t wait to stop TTC…

I can’t wait to go through hours of painful labor…

I can’t wait to see those little eyes looking back at me…

I can’t wait to breastfeed for the first time…

I can’t wait to not have to worry about anything but the life in my arms…

Please sign this petition to mandate fertility healthcare coverage in Washington state. There are approximately 147,000 women in Washington that are experiencing infertility and we need your help. Average amount spent prior to a live birth for those women is $48,000. I myself have spent close to $30,000 and if we move to IVF prior to infertility being covered under insurance I will be upwards of $48,000 as well. Which is roughly a years pay!
