So given a number of unpleasant interactions I've had with certain parts of the AtlA/LoK fandom recently, I've come up with a list of people I'm no longer interested in wasting my time and mental health on. If you're any one of the following and I haven't yet blocked you for whatever reason, do me a favor and DNI:
Azula apologists/stans, i.e. anyone who tries to put the majority of the blame on Ursa and/or Iroh for how Azula turned out, anyone who tries to insist Azula was abused in the mental institution Zuko put her in post-series, anyone who believes the responsibility is on Ursa and Zuko to seek out Azula and earn her forgiveness rather than the other way around, and anyone who threw a hissy fit over Ashes of the Academy not indulging their fantasies of Azula actually being a nice kid of sorts when she was growing up. If you're an Azula fan who doesn't fall into those categories and/or is willing to be respectful/open-minded though, feel free to interact.
AtlA comics haters. Particularly anyone who wants to complain about the Atla characters being "OOC" in the comics, anyone who wants to complain about the comic plotlines "not making sense", and anyone who hates Kiyi and/or feels she should be replaced by Azula as Zuko's nice sister. As with the above bullet point though, if you don't fall into those categories and/or are willing to be respectful/open-minded about interpretations not in line with your own, I'm more willing to interact.
Zutara shippers who are also anti-Kataang. To put it simply and bluntly, I'm likely REALLY not going to want to hear anything you've got to say in regards to the latter.
Anyone who wants to complain about how Katara - who served as Korra's waterbending master, got involved in politics enough to outlaw bloodbending, was invited to teach at Pakku's new waterbending school in the South Pole, and was never meant to be a character of significant focus in LoK anyway - was "reduced to just being a healer" following AtlA. On the other hand, feel free to share your headcanons/ideas about what Katara might've done offscreen between AtlA and LoK if you like.
Anyone who wants to complain about anyone involved with AtlA being "sexist" (for whatever reason) or "ableist" (for depicting Azula as suffering a mental breakdown at the end of the show, not being able to overcome it by the time she first appeared in the comics, and needing to be restrained due to irrational aggression and violence).
Anyone who tries to claim that Aang was a terrible parent and OOC for focusing on Tenzin, the Air Nomads and his Avatar duties. Absentee father is okay though.
