They generate psychic energy within their bodies, which radiates from the frills on their bellies and allows them to hover just above the ground, leaving their small legs seldom used. As they mature into Seemu, their psychic power intensifies and begins to manifest through their eyes, granting them the ability to immobilize foes with a piercing stare. At the same time, their bodies undergo rapid change, developing longer legs and frilled, wing-like structures. Their temperament grows harsher and more aggressive, matching their increasing strength. By the time they evolve into Espathra, they rely less on levitation and more on their powerful stride, capable of running at speeds exceeding 120 mph.

Ran out of time between a few projects this week, so we'll name this guy today instead! Thank you for the suggestions, there were a lot of fun ones in this round that referenced Egypt and Cleopatra, which I liked but I felt like those reference don't really come into play in the design until Espathra. Ultimately I'm going with Seemu (seer + emu), which I think has a fitting simplicity, suggested by @jdrawer01. Thanks!
