the way i saw it, dean “i don’t know how to tell my feelings apart” winchester did not react ooc. his best friend, most trusted person after his own brother, just told him the most beautiful words, told him he’s a being of love. self-hating dean winchester of course has an instinct to deny and reject every compliment. so he’s taken aback and frowning, naturally. especially bc cas is never like this. and because they were both about to die.

he’s also mad because cas is once again trying to sacrifice himself and he can hear the goodbye in his words, he doesn’t like it. he’s also confused as to why the goodbye is coming in this form, up until cas says he loves him. he looks tongue-tied the entire part after that. he swallows and and you can see the pain he felt for a quick second, but there’s nothing he can do, it’s done.

he said “don’t do this, cas.” & looked back with teary eyes towards the empty. he was surprised, shocked, and sad af. “cas..” he started, but it was too late to do anything.

Side note: I’ve never heard him say “cas” in that soft tone before.. he was trying.

he (again) wanted to say more but didn’t have the time or words to. he was too stunned to even call his name when he was leaving (i wont say dying). he couldn’t even say “no!” or something. he couldn’t even raise his voice. he couldn’t even move.

also: did you not see him stuck to the floor?? rubbing his head and sobbing into his knees?? ignoring sams call, the sam that he knows is now in danger with chuck being the real threat??? when has dean ever ignored sams call like that… in a situation like this..

You’ve all just like, completely skipped over the possibility that this crow has seen people using pens in this room, found one, and is trying to return it. There’s been videos of crows picking up sweet wrappers and stuff and placing them in bins after seeing humans put their litter in bins. I really do believe that this crow is trying to return the pen and that is ADORABLE AS HELL.

Another cool crow deal: Once, when trying to assess if crows could reason and use tools, scientists had two crows who didn’t know each other each take a wire from a table (one was hooked, one was straight) and try to grab meat from a bottle with it. The crows could see each other, though they had separate bottles. Only the straight wire worked for this, so they hypothesized that if crows could reason, the second trial would have the two crows fighting over the straight wire. The second trial started and, to the surprise of the scientists, the two crows both went for the bent wire, one held it down and the other unbent it. They both got meat out of their bottles. They came to a peaceful solution without verbal communication. Crows are probably smarter than we are.

Cool facts about crows:

1. Crows understand the concept of gifts.

There’s a little girl who started feeding the murder by her house and they started bringing her trinkets (cool pebbles, coins, shiny things, bleached animal bones, etc) as a thank you. 

2. Crows remember who has been kind to them and tell other crows about the nice humans.

There are various examples of people who have helped crows and the crows not only come back to say hi, but also bring friends who need help over for the nice human to help.

3. Crows are the only other animal known to make tools in order to make another tool.

4. Crows have been proven to have a sense of self

If you mark them with a coloured dot that they can see and then show them their reflection in a mirror they soon realize that the reflection is them and not another crow.

5. Crows have regional dialects and accents.

They are also able to copy each other’s dialects and accents to fit in if they move to an area where the accent is different.

6. Crows regularly visit their parents after leaving the nest.

They also regularly live with their parents after reaching adulthood to help with raising their younger siblings for up to five years before moving out.

It works like this: You tell Kitestring that you’re in a dangerous place or situation, and give it a time frame of when to check in on you. If you don’t reply back when it checks your status, it’ll alert your emergency contacts with a custom message you set up.

It doesn’t require you to touch anything (like bSafe) or shake your phone (like Nirbhaya) to send the distress signal. Kitestring is smarter, because it doesn’t need an action to alert people, it needs inaction.

Actually had someone do this to me too. Was doing a art stream, it took me over 2 hours to do his inked commission, he got a refund cause ‘it took too long’ that he figured I wasn’t going to do it after I gave him the file.

I’ve had this happen to me with a $350 comic :/ I had already finished it, it was full color, 6 panels and had a full bg in every panel. I was lucky in that I didn’t spend him money yet, but it left me without funds. I’ve also had the above happen to me as well.

Use Paypal Invoices. 

I cannot stress this enough. That shit helps A LOT when it comes down to Paypal refunds/disputes. There’s a description box that let’s you put in what the product is/how long it’ll take/yadda yadda, and then there’s another little memo box that only you and paypal can see where you can say it’s a digital commission and doesn’t require shipping (So Donald Mcfuck can’t say that they never got their commission). And there’s also a box for your Terms & Conditions where you can say, if you have any conflicts/want a refund - email me, or you can actually tell the user that this is a digital commission and they won’t be getting a hard copy of it.

ARTISTS. PLEASE USE PAYPAL INVOICES. it will SAVE you. And to: the people who do this to artists – Fuck you. It’s okay if you change your mind and want a refund. But freaking TALK to us and let us know what’s going on. Let us WORK with you.

ALSO A HUGE TIP: Invoices paid will automatically set up a shipping notice which, if not fulfilled, can land you in SERIOUS hot water with PayPal. Since a lot of artists don’t print and ship the commissions, this is a huge problem.

Also if there’s one big thing I got out of art school it’s GET A CONTRACT. Make them sign it.  No matter how small your art business is, ESPECIALLY if you work freelance, MAKE THEM SIGN A CONTRACT. The Graphic Artists Guild Handbook has contracts you can use as a template. Last year’s version is online for free. (it also shows you how to accurately price your work and what to do in ethical dilemmas) 

This will help you soooo much. Please don’t shy away from contracts because you assume it will be too difficult or make you look overbearing. If they’re not willing to sign a page that says “ i promise to pay you, and stick by the rules we agreed to”  don’t trust that customer. (It’s for the customer’s benefit too, you promise to create art and spell out any revisions you allow and time span it will take)  PLUS you can ask for a fee up front that is part of the agreement that you get to keep if the customer falls through and cancels suddenly on you!
