I own (around) 164 pieces of antique glass, approx 110 of which are uranium glass.
I have 51 identifiable patterns of glass, by 22 different 19th-20th century glass manufacturers. Only 35 pieces in my entire collection are currently unidentified, and the bulk of those unidentified pieces are because I’ve only ever found 1-2 of each of them.
Some of my personal favorite patterns of all time are:
- princess, by anchor hocking (of which I own the teacup, saucer, cookie jar, fruit bowl, sorbet cup, and lidded candy dish)
- ribbon, by hazel atlas (of which I only own the teacup and saucer)
- caprice, by Cambridge, specially in moonlight blue (of which I also only own the teacup and saucer),
- star, by federal, specifically in yellow glass (of which I own the fruit bowl, saucer, lidded sugar bowl, iced tea glass, and creamer pitcher)
Also honorable mention to all bamboo/optic/bamboo optic patterns out there, I love a good simple piece of glass even if I only own one variation (liberty works’ bamboo optic in uranium glass)
I have a full spreadsheet and I keep having to buy special shelving for my room for all my glass. I have a curio cabinet, 2 wooden teacup shelves, a couple of dedicated shelves on my bookshelves, plates mounted on my walls, and more glass scattered about as decoration.
