I think it would be hilarious if SQH and SQQ both decide to confess there transmigrators during a meeting but then get almost totally ignored because someone else decides it’s time that they confess something that is like, way worse then whatever they’ve got going on.

Shang Qinghua: we’ve gathered you all together today because we finally have the ability to confess something we should’ve told you years ago…

Shen Qingqiu: that’s right, the truth is that we are transmigrators and had a completely different life in another world before we became who you know today.

AU where OG Shang Qinghua dies at Mobei's hands but instead of being reincarnated he is sent back to live his life over. Only at the last minute he's shoved out of his body a different soul take his place

He can see it's unwilling

Can see the system's shackles on this person's soul

Watches them live through his life and try to fix his mistakes but fail

He dies at Mobei's hands

They repeat the cycle and while this strange soul that OG Shang Qinghua has been unwillingly tethered to repeats the life he doesn't remember any of it

OG Shang Qinghua watches his doppelganger replay their life. Sees how he always falls for Mobei only to die by his hands. The fact that sometimes Mobei loves him back and the death is an accident or by someone else doesn't matter

Along the way he goes from disgust and pity to admiration and love

Eventually he figures out how to break the system, replace it's shackles for his own

His beloved can finally see him and he can control the memory wipes. Show him the truth that he wants

Convince him to give up on the demon who will always betray him

To become his and his alone

Doesn't matter that this time the demon seems like he won't kill his Qinghua. That he seems to be behaving

It doesn't matter

What matters is that listens that his soft alter ego trusts him above all else

I... I don't know what to say. This is seriously amazing

Hardly anyone in this fandom ever takes the og!sqh into consideration, so I love that someone did and then made it all the more amazing.

This next part doesn't even relate all that much to the original post but...

Whenever people have the og! goods finding out about the transmigration and the author status of sqh I see a lot of the hate and the dislike, but out of all his characters all the people he wrote, I can see these two people maybe hating him for it, but also being the only ones to understand it.

Even if we don't know og!sqh's backstory we know sj was someone who did anything to survive, who would see sqh writing crappy novels for the sake of survival and he wouldn't be happy his character was involved, but he would still understand why sqh did it. Selling yourself for the sake of your survival is something sj would understand more than anyone.

Meanwhile og sqh is so unknown its crazy, but at the same time I like to think that he was just someone who was screwed over like everyone else, a person who made sure that he either made it to the top or would die trying because he had no other option, just like sqh.

( I like to think the systems represent the amount of choice the og!'s had in life, sj far more than sqh.)

Anyway, the relationships between the og! and the airplane author are something I wish more people would discuss. The subtle connections would be amazing.

The tiny amount we are given from Airplane talking about his second childhood he mentions "poverty and misery" so OG! SQH probably also was a survivor above all else

I also wonder what actually happened to him. In PIDW. Because he was killed off screen and PIDW was from Luo Binghe's POV.

So, we know from how Airplane met Mobei OG Shang Qinghua could probably have killed Mobei and chose not to. Why?

Surely if he wanted to advance his place in the sect killing the demon that killed his fellow disciples would have done that?

Why did he stay loyal to Mobei for so long?

Why would Mobei, who values our Shang Qinghua and values Loyalty kill his most faithful servant for the crime of not being able to spy anymore?

Especially as he kept Airplane Shang Qinghua with him at all times as just a companion with no duties?

There are so many questions and not enough answers

Because of that another idea of mine I would love to make into a fic someday: (or read if someone else wants to tackle this and tag me)

OG Mobei did not kill OG Shang Qinghua.

He attic wifed him

He told OG Luo Binghe that he killed him because he knew Luo Binghe wouldn't let any Peak Lord except Mu Qingfang live and even he was on thin ice

But he couldn't just let his Shang Qinghua go

So he keeps him in a room without a door that can only be accessed by his shadows. He wants for nothing except his freedom but even if he escaped what would he do? Where would he go?

At least in his cage he's alive

Maybe it was even his idea?

There is so much that could be done with him. Including! something happening and SVSSS Mobei and Shang Qinghua walking into his caged off room and being startled to find him alive

Also the attic wife au if very dear to me. Like the intrigue, the forbidden love, the mutual I can't kill you even if I wanted to!

The fact that og and airplane sqh both are addicted to work and wouldn't know what to do with themselves without it.

(I like to think that in their minds that work equals safety because it means that they are useful to someone (meaning they need to be kept alive.))

og! sqh would be pissed though lmao, mbj would need to spend spend years making it up to him. Only because it probably wouldn't have been his idea though. (if it was he would be somewhat happy, he likes being in control)

Also yes svsss moshang find the og! we have bingmei v bingge why not og moshang vs svsss moshang!

What if Shen Yuan had a harsher System and was forced to convincingly play Shen Qingqiu, making Luo Binghe detest his existence, but when Luo Binghe returns from the abyss to enact his revenge and has Shen Qingqiu on trial at Huan Hua, unfortunately for everyone (and fortunately for us), they drug Shen Qingqiu with truth serum and accidentally spiral Shen Yuan into fanboy rampage of epic proportions about how great Luo Binghe is.
