Idk sometimes I just get so dissociated from reality that sometimes Iām just looking at a mug or my curtains āthings that arenāt even meant to be consumed as art or anything beautiful from a handmade perspective, and you can just see the humanity involved.
With the rise of AI sometimes itās easy to forget the love that someone put into the silly little cat picture that hangs from your calendar, or the binding in the journal you love so much, but moreover, these arenāt even impossible skills that can only be attained in a 1000 man factory.
You can create art, sublimation print it, heat it to a mug, and you have a specially designed mug at the same level of quality and love as one made a thousand times over to sell in Walmart.
Idk maybe this doesnāt make much sense but sometimes it feels like handmade crafts arenāt held to the same high regard as factory made ā like as if it could never match in near perfectionism or something like that, but weāre forgetting that thereās usually people behind those factory made designs as well
