Even though Louis is HURT and betrayed and furious at the book, and even though Daniel “I’m not traumatized I love being a vampire” Molloy is hitting the new life hard, they are still careful with each other!!

Daniel asks if Louis read and liked the book in a way that (couched in sarcasm) felt like he genuinely wanted to know. Louis asks how he’s been, and Daniel gives him a real answer and makes himself vulnerable by asking about the Maker’s bond

AND THEN THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR DAUGHTERS???? #mydilfs

Even when Daniel brings in Raglan and sets up Louis to talk with him, Louis just says “not cool, Daniel” in an irritated way, not a ‘I will be enacting revenge’ kind of way
