RM A.K.A KIM NAMJOON. He is known to be the full package: Handsome, tall, smart, talented, rich, kind, very mature AND the leader of currently the biggest boy group in the world: BTS.
He had to witness the weirdest situations/discussions.
Deal with second hand embarrassment all the time.
Try to keep a straight face whenever one of them was throwing pure Bull Sh*t on national television.
Sometimes it gets SO hopeless he had to pray to a God he doesn’t even believe in.
The man with the 148 IQ clearly knows his teammates are not just idiots. They are the reason that word was originally created.
He is always behind them doing damage control.
He even has to tell the members that are older than him to behave.
At some point, he just stands there questioning his life choices.
He wanted to become an artist, but he ended up babysitting adult men.
Yet, NO ONE appreciate them as much as he does.
And the members too… The look of adoration and respect they give him says a lot.
He just needs to talk for them to calm down and listen.
The boys know that he is the best leader ever because for instance, “BTS in the beginning used to receive hate messages and their leader RM translated them to positive messages for the rest of the boys, keeping all the hate to himself.“
RM really loves his members and considers them family.
And by now, he found his own ways of keeping them under control.
Since the start he was ready to carry them all on his back with no complaints. He doesn’t whine but feels thankful no matter what.
He once said “Thanks to the members who I put beside me, I’m able to fill in my weaknesses, and they have made me want to be a better person. I’m thankful. We’re all different and that may seem a little burdensome on us, but we all know our differences, in a good way. In order to be a portion as one person in that group of seven, I will try my best to do what I can do and for a long time, healthily, and continue to do what we have believed in this entire time.”
He also caught some of their craziness at some point so now he just accepts it. And he is not normal himself. No one in that group is.
Wait… You know what? Actually…No one needs to save Namjoon. He is the one who came into this world to save it. The world didn’t always treat him well, but he keeps telling us to be kind. One of my favorite quotes of his is when he said: “The sea is cold and dark, but if you must become a wave for someone, I hope you can be a kind wave”. He truly thinks that he is the lucky one having BTS and ARMY. However, BTS and ARMY are the lucky ones being led by him.
