they gotta put all their eggs in the "male socialization" basket cause some trans women don't even have the body parts they fearmonger about but they still want to control them
like at this point in the like... 10+ years trans women have been a go-to wedge issue, everyone knows how chromosomes don't necessarily determine phenotype, everyone knows bottom surgery exists, everyone knows intersex people exist, everyone knows some people don't even produce gametes at all, everyone knows we don't stop calling cis women women after a hysterectomy or sterilization
the well of bioessentialist arguments is starting to run dry cause everyone knows the facts that disprove them. so they've had to greatly exaggerate how socialization works and how immutable it is cause what the hell else are they gonna do, lol
9 out of 10 times I see people on here celebrating a new "landmark piece of anti-AI legislation" the legislation in question is inevitably some variation of "we propose making IP laws more restrictive but presented through the language of opposing AI". But that one from germany about holding google liable for the words of its AI overview feature is legitimately good I think. If they actively choose to shove that thing in everyone's face as the first thing they're going to see when they make a google search then they shouldn't be able to dodge accountability for the information it provides with a little "gemini AI can be inaccurate, please remember to double-check information teeheehee" disclaimer.
the germany ruling is good because it's targeting something that's bad to do whether it's done by an AI or a human
you have to love the transfem’s stretch marks. luckily they’re very easy to love.
There inventing a new kind of sadness and its called "the look in a trans woman's eye when she looks at a public swimming pool"
scientist: well we don't call it a penis because its not quite a penis, it serves a completely different function and while it elongates much like a penis does its an extension of the birth canal. technically.

absolutely hilarious
One fun thing about learning new languages is reconsidering the structure of words and language in your mother tongue. It seems with each new language I study, I get more little insights into English, either in how it's similar or how it's different.
For example, a couple years ago, while learning Spanish, I encountered the word for a store, "la tienda." I thought "huh, that's a lot like tener (tiene) - the word for store in Spanish literally corresponds to 'to have/keep'. How interesting!"
Then I stopped for a moment, and for the first time in my life, thought about seriously about the meaning of English word for the place where you buy things, "a store."
I'm really trying hard to be a "It's everyone's first time learning something everyday" kind of guy but also if you don't know shit and you know you're, for whatever reason, a person who doesn't have context about something, why fucking talk. Like why are you talking. If you know you don't know what's being discussed why are you opining about it and getting confused when everyone is like, shut your empty headed mouth for the love of god? Are you ALSO learning for the first time that this is insufferable?? As though half the time these people aren't also insufferable pedants who'd blow a gasket if someone started talking about their loser hobbies wrong
"Here are my thoughts on this topic"
"You are completely off, you have gotten multiple basic facts wrong, you also lack x and y context"
"Well I didn't know that because I don't really involve myself in this topic" THEN SHUT UPPPPPPP OH MY GODDDDDDD
Enjoy some neck cracks

Hey, did y'all see this?
I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!
I'll share some of the info below:
Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.
What to do?
-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides
- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!
To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!
Share the link with your friends, family and anyone who will listen!
Your phone is about to stop being yours. In September 2026, Google will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with them.
