Yeah so guess who’s participating in No-Content-November!

Honestly I’m sick and tired of how little this website respects creators. I am a relatively small blog, with only fifty followers, but I can barely expect ten notes on each of my pieces.

That’s right, ten notes per piece. While I have a few outliers I call them outliers for a reason. On average I can expect ten notes per piece, and that is only if my friends @orca-iguana & @3amsnek reblog them.

They’re both amazing people and I’m so glad that they’re my friends, my interactions with them have kept this humble blog afloat. I absolutely adore talking with people about my art, and these angels are happy to talk with me. But besides those three reblogs at best I will get no interaction other than likes.

Likes don’t do anything, I’m sure you’ve heard this countless times but I’ll repeat it again. Tumblr’s system does not care if you liked the post, you reblogging it is what shows it to others. You are the algorithm in control if others see my art.

I’ll still be working on things to post in December, but I’m taking a break from all art except map parts for this month.

Remember when I said I wasn’t gonna be able to do art until my birthday? WELL MY BRITHDAY CAME EARLY EVERYONE! My parents were super understanding and I’ve got a new iPad on me! They’re the best, and I love them so much.

But anyways, I’ve got a thumbnail contest entry here for the wonderful MagicPancil’s Blackout MAP!

I decided to feature our prologue POV Hvitur, as it’s an arc one map & his death basically kicks off half the story, plus not many other people were using him & so it was an easy way to stand out.

A Note

I don’t do fan-art for Sanders’ Sides but if you check my main blog you’ll see I’m actually very deep into the fandom.

I bring this up because I was planning on making a mountain of fan-art for the latest batch of new content, but unfortunately my iPad broke and I’m unable to draw anything.

The earliest I can get it repaired by is November, so that’ll be a fun birthday present for me, but anyways, I appreciate your understanding in with another art hiatus as I go off to fight god. 

I’ll be attempting to finish my owed art with a busted tablet, aka map parts and the like, but you’ll probably not get any other art other than that.

The good news is that my computer isn’t broken so I have ample time to throw myself back into writing, so look forward to more fics coming your way!

could we get,, Jasper but cat?

Here’s our anxious baby Jasper Poppy as Robincoat (thanks for the awesome name btw)!

Robincoat’s a loner turned Windclan mediator, they’re a bit of a walking mess & often walk head first into trees or stumble into holes, leading to their dense fur often being covered in burs & twigs. They chose to own the look by wearing a messy flower crown, even if the petals sometimes get into their eyes.

During one of their many trips to share news with Riverclan, Robincoat met Goldheart & fell head over heels for the beautiful cat. Robincoat suddenly started spending a lot more time with the water-loving cats, & Goldheart specifically, leading to their massive crush becoming an open secret among the two clans. They supported the other cat when their father suddenly made them deputy, & was one of the many cats who consoled Goldheart after the sudden death of his father.

Robincoat was also the cat to carry the news about Goldheart’s supposed demise to Riverclan. They became reclusive & withdrawn afterward, neglecting their duties and just wandering around the moors in depression. Though one night the young cat awoke to see a ghostly figure outside of their den. Realizing rather quickly that this wasn’t a regular sleep-deprived hallucination, Robincoat approached the star-spotted cat who nodded in encouragement. The cat stated that Robincoat must follow the current to find what they seek, before disappearing back to whence they came. Robincoat was gone before morning.

After moons of travelling, the young cat stumbled upon a group of eccentric cats living by the sea, who seemingly knew about them. After Robincoat pressed them for more info they revealed an alive & well Goldheart, who greeted the other cat with the biggest hug ever. The Windclan cat ended up leading the group back to clan territory, & lived a very happy life full of forehead bonks & fat squirrels.

Anyway’s here’s Hunter Gold reimagined as Goldheart! A smol medicine-cat who’s max capacity floof-to-volume ratio (yes those words totally make sense I’m sure of it).

I took pains to include his vitiligo, & changed his onyx earring into a pair of red-winged-blackbird feathers! Plus I made him a blep-y child cause it was necessary.

Goldheart’s father was the leader of his clan: a lazy dictator who didn’t bother organizing hunting patrols, leaving his clanmates to fend for themselves. While Goldheart vehemently disagreed with his father’s actions, he was too scared to stop him as cats who disagreed tended to go missing. He ended up helping his clanmates by becoming an unofficial medicine-cat, a job that Goldheart took to like he was born for it, though this happiness didn’t last as after the deputy’s death, his father picked the apprenticeless Goldheart as next in line. Things got even worse when only a moon into his deputyship, his father suddenly died, leaving a terrified Goldheart as leader. On the way to the star-place however, Goldheart pushed the medicine-cat out of the way of a sudden rockslide, falling into the canyon below. He woke up on the shores of a faraway beach, and with the help of some new friends, finally found his way home after a year lost. When Goldheart returned, however, the clan hap appointed a new leader & deputy in his place, & had thrived after his father’s death. Not wanting to return to his life as a warrior, Goldheart sheepishly asked if he could be officially apprenticed as a medicine-cat, a deal that the clan approved of wholeheartedly.

Heyo fellow insomniacs! Today I bring you our favourite fiery gal, the one & only Peril!

I’m pretty upset that she didn’t gain any of her dad’s Rainwing traits, so you know what, screw it, I’m an artist, I’ll fix it myself! 

Because of Chameleon’s enchantments, she still appears much more Skywing than Rainwing, but it’s visible! No-one in the Sky Kingdom connected the dots because:

Almost none of them had actually ever seen a Rainwing before

Literally no-one had ever seen a Firescales before so they just assumed they were all ‘slightly wonky’

I was also peer-pressured by absolute geniuses to have a pink-Peril so know she’s our little strawberry gal & we love her. Watch out Peacemaker, Peril’s coming for your title.

(If anyone’s asking yes this is gonna be a series, I’m hoping to do a bunch of designs! Also while I’m crossposting these on Toyhouse & Deviantart, I’m willing to set up a separate blog for these, let me know if that’s something you want!)

A Perri for you! His design was actually pretty hard to translate into this palette cause of his hair, the boi’s got soft snowy locks & wow they did not agree with being purple.

I’m totally planning on coming back & doing Xos, cause she’s just the best & I shall take every opportunity to draw her.

But anyways, have a wonderful Willow! I absolutely love this flower child with her pacifist but take no shit attitude & her lovely relationship with Sundew, can’t wait to see more of her in The Dangerous Gift!

Heyo, fellow insomniacs! I’ve noticed that I have a pretty bad habit of dropping off the map to return with only a short burst of content. That sucks & I want to rectify it, but I don’t have enough content to post regularly currently. Would y’all be fine if I posted more silly projects or works in progress? I want to revive this blog, but I don’t want to give y’all content you don’t want.

Alright, I’ve decided that with for the vague asks I’m gonna do some evil bois, so have one of the many Mapmakers, with their trademark feather card & fabulous eyeliner! Go ahead & love these bois to your hearts content, they’re just so over-dramatically evil & I love them!

Also, somebody just randomly guessed their identity from a character I’d mentioned once months ago, so props to @3amsnek to making me cry with laughter. If anyone else goes around doing that I will commit a crime.

Heyo fellow insomniacs! I swear I’ve been trying to get back into inbox requests, but recently a milestone that I was planning to do something for was hit much sooner then I expected, so catch me stressing out while drawing 30 things at once.
