trying to prove a point that female fans can love Peter Parker for the character and not because of the actor’s physical appearance. That we are not ‘fake fans’ just because a cute guy became the face of one of the most amazing heroes out there.
edit: some people seem to think I’m saying people who found sm because of Tom are fake fans - nonononono. I’m annoyed at the prejudice against female fans (mostly by male comic readers - AGAIN NOT ALL) that says we pretend to be a fan of the hero because of the actor. I’m sorry for the poor wording above… I have loved Spider-Man since I was 7, but it doesn’t make me anymore of a fan than someone who became a fan in 2016.
Lukas sighs as he makes his coffee. Two more days, well, one and a few hours actually, and he’d get to see Mathias again.
His boyfriend is a marine, and he had been away for months on service. Luckily this was his last one, after this he’d get to stay home. Lukas wouldn’t have to sleep alone again, wondering of Mathias would actually make it home at all.
Deeply sunken in his thoughts he doesn’t notice the front door opening, the soft thud of bag being set down, and arms wrapping around his waist.
“I’m home.”
Lukas jolts and whips around. “Don’t scare me like that you i-”
It takes a couple seconds for his brain to fully process Mathias’ grinning face. That stupid crooked smile he’s missed so much. He’s back.
“I thought you weren’t coming back until a few days,” Lukas cups Mathias’ face, stroking his cheek with his thumb.
“Originally, but they let me go early, something about not taking all vacation days.”
“You should have called, I’d have picked you up.”
“But I wanted to surprise you,” Mathias kisses Lukas’ forehead, “I missed you.”
“I missed you too, even though you stench of sweat.”
Mathias pouts, “I’m finally home again and you insult me.”
“Did you expect anything else?”
“No, not really, and it’s nice to know you never change.”
“Your idiocy never changes either,” Lukas flicks Mathias’ nose, “go take a shower, I’ll make you something to eat.”
“Lukas I’m not that hu-”
“When i say make I really mean warm up leftover chinese food.”
“Thanks, I’m starving.”
Lukas rolls his eyes, “just go shower, idiot.”
“Not until I’ve had my kiss.”
“Seriously?”
Mathias nods with a smile, Lukas rolls his eyes again and quickly kisses him.
“You didn’t give me time to kiss you back.”
“We can do anything you want after you’ve finished your shower, now go!”
“Yes sir!” Mathias salutes him and walks to the bathroom. Lukas can’t fight the smile off his face as he reheats the chinese food and makes some more coffee.
Ten minutes later they’re cuddling on the couch with two steaming mugs of coffee, and the lego movie playing in the background.
“You better not leave me alone again now.”
Mathias chuckles, “don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere, not unless I have you with me,” Mathias intertwines their fingers.
“Good.”
“Even when you want me gone, I’m staying right here by your side.”
“Like I could manage without you,” Lukas leans in and kisses Mathias’ cheek, “I wouldn’t have anyone to open my jars for me.”
“Is that the only reason?”
“Yes.”
“Not my awesome body?”
“That might be a little bit of the reason, but mostly the jar thing.”
Mathias chuckles, “so mean,” he traces his finger down the other’s spine, “didn’t you say you missed me?”
“I did.”
“Well you’re not showing it,” Mathias boops Lukas’ nose.
“I don’t need to show it to mean it.”
“It would be nice if you showed it some more.”
Lukas softly flicks Mathias’ forehead, “we both know that that will never happen.”
“I know, but I can always hope for more kisses.”
“If you want a kiss then just kiss me, idiot.”
“You know what? Maybe I will, that’s a good idea.”
Lukas rolls his eyes, “of course it’s a good idea, I came up wi-”
He gets silenced by Mathias smashing their lips together, but he doesn’t really mind, because finally, he’ll stay home.

Allow me to elaborate on how bad things are here. 7 places are burning at the same time while in Μάτι and Κίνετα the fire not only burned trees but because off the strong winds(80 kilometes per hour) it burned houses, it burned people. Firefighters and volunteers do whatever they can with the little gear they have as always because why on earth would the goverment give money to firefighting vechiles, canadairs and literally anything else that could be useful in this country when we know that every summer someone wants to burn forests so they can build whatever they want. Anyways, people started running away once some firefighters managed to warn them to evacute ( something that others should have done because these people have to keep working so they can prevent the fore from doing anymore damage ). People started running to get to the beach which was their only hope, unfortunately some people with their families were trapped once the fire circurled the area around them leaving them with the only thing to do, wait for their end. Charred bodies were found locked in embrace the next day. Now the people who reached the beach had to wait there so they could be transferred from there to the port of Ραφήνα. Here’s a photo :
While the boats reascued people from the beach they also retrived 19 more from the sea and 10 bodies (I am not sure for the number). That’s a small peak off what has happened the fires haven’t stopped while there are many revivals of the fires. The deaths are officially at 79 by the most recent official announcement. Places like Mati, Kineta, Chania, Neos Boutsas and more are being burned to the core.
Minimum help is being given by neighboring countries. Officially 2 aircrafts from Italy and 2 from Cuprus whipe some are expected from Romania, Hungary, Spain.

Cars are literally melted by the fires.
The victims include children, thankfully the ones that survived are shocked, of course, but safe and in the hospital. The number of kids in the hospital ‘Παίδον’ (Pedon) in Athens is 11; 12 exited yesterday, and the kids left are expected to leave today.
The suspicion of the fires falls on arson. It something that Greece has suffered from a lot throughout the years. Yet we are never prepared for most of our problems whether it has to do with natural causes or not.

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.
yesterday my country had 300 active fires.
people are losing EVERYTHING they own.
i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.
and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish.
i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately.
but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?

This is fucking important. I am glad someone fucking spoke about this and said what they had to say. The damage is terrible, and all the evergreen, stone, even the ground is black. I was fucking terrified when Croatia was burning. The fire was near a village where I like and I thought it will burn down. I thought the church will burn down. I thought the cemetery where my grandpa is buried will burn. I still remember the smell of smoke, and when I went to check how bad is fire, my clothes and hair and skin all stunk of smoke. It didn’t go away for weeks.

If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.
On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.
Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.
But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.
What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.

Sometimes when I go hundreds pages deep into people’s Tumblr archives, I find really funny posts and I weigh the pros and cons of liking/reblogging them.
Pros: I’ll have access to them later because they’re fucking hilarious
Cons: They might think I’m creepy. Despite the fact that it’s public and on the Internet, it is not socially acceptable to let anyone know the extent that you creeped their archives.
I hereby extend blanket permission for anyone to creep on my archive, and to like and reblog posts from it if they want to. It’s really quite flattering.
There are trans boys. There are nerodivergent boys. there are poc boys and lgbt boys and there are tall boys and short boys and chubby boys and thin boys, dorky boys and macho boys and boys who like dresses and boys who dont. There’s so many different types of boys and they ALL deserve love and ALL deserve to feel safe and welcome here. yes, even the cishet white boys. judge the boys by their personality, not their gender. As a nerodivergent trans boy. This hurts me. i understand women need the confidence boost but men do as well.
