OH MY GOODNESS!!!
I decided to Google “Emotional Abuse”. After hearing a lot of talk about it over the years, I decided to see exactly what were the signs of emotional abuse. This is my search result. http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2013/02/20/signs-of-emotional-abuse/
I replaced the words “Do they” with “does the LDS Church” or “do Latter day Saint authorities”
Section 1 not so much but 2 through 5 was an OMG for me.
Letter to CES
So my hubby asked me last night if I'd heard of the "letter to CES". Nope, never heard of it. Boy, where have I been!! All the stuff I'm learning about wrapped up in 75 pages...yep, I read it and here it is for any of you out there who have made some of these discoveries, or wondered how to substantiate what you have discovered. Thank you Jeremy Runnells, you have laid it out there for me and I appreciate your efforts!http://www.roadkilldelight.com/NOM/CESletter.pdf

Who Knows?
My husband and I are resigned from the LDS church. We have made the decision to keep this from our parents. The reason, both sets of parents are very wrapped up into the LDS religion and it would simply break their heart.
It pisses me off that the LDS religion still has this vine around my neck. I am out of the religion, but I can't seem to even have an honest relationship with my parents and that pisses me off.
I wonder if there are others out there who have resigned the LDS church and feel telling close family members is not really an option?
I also wonder if there are those who have told their families and are they still a part of your life? Are you glad you did? Would you tell them again, or would you have kept quiet about it?
Meal Prepping and Learning
I've been experimenting lately with pre-made meals. Today I made my own turkey burgers (added minced garlic, cubed onion and green pepper, seasonings). The meat was on sale and I got 7 burgers out of it. With all the holiday eating land mines out there, this girl has to be prepared.
Besides, I am teaching some killer classes lately and doing my own workout weekends...nutrition needs to match what I'm asking my body to do.
These have been some meals I've successfully prepared and packaged for several lunches and some dinners.
Chicken (bulk baked in the oven)- Yam (bulk microwaved) - Swiss Chard (last crop of my garden and bulk sautéed)
Cauliflower Rice (one head of cauliflower rice bulked stir fried) with Mixed Veggies
Turkey Burgers on Whole Wheat Pita with Spinach and Tomato
I divide what I want for one meal, make the week's worth and set them in the fridge. What cooked meat is left over gets put into the freezer to be added to any other meals. Yesterday, I used some thawed (in the fridge the night before) chicken left over and added it to some romaine lettuce, tomatoes and with left over cranberries and almonds, made a great salad!
I'm learning to plan and look for sales at the grocery store. I'm also learning to cook without the middle aisle items from that same said grocery store. Hope these ideas can help someone out there.
These snack boxes are great for 12-hour work shifts, pre or post workout snacking, and of course quick after school snacking for kids! Like meal prepping for the week, these are easier done in one night, preferably on a sunday. Once you’ve got a good variety of snacks picked out and...

Ready Set GO!
I woke up at 7 a.m. and it is 9:21 a.m. I have just finished my weekly meals and I feel ready to go! My plan for the months of November and December is to eat, eat healthy available meals that I prepared. Eat natural foods in quantities that are reasonable and sustain my active exercise lifestyle. I'm going to avoid the 10-15 pound holiday pounds and opt for a rockin' holiday healthy body as a true gift to myself!
Ready, Set
I prepared 5 premade lunches of baked chicken, sautéed swiss chard, and yams.
I have 8 prepackaged baked chicken bags in the freezer ready to fill with cauliflower rice, and beans, when my five baggies of lunches are eaten.
So I really have 13 chicken meals ready because I made the cauliflower rice and the beans as well this morning. I also have some ground turkey I'm going to make later as teriyaki turkey to go with the rice as well.
GO!
This meal planning and eating starts now! I've done the work and now the benefits of PLANNING and PREPARING will definitely help me with the controlled EATING. I've got the exercise under my belt and when this new eating plan is joined with my exercise all I can see is SUCCESS.

So true! Got to keep 'em going to church, like they would watch a sequel to a movie, feed 'em a little at a time, peek their interest and even throw in some fear and don't forget to make 'em pay for the information so they can feel like the almighty gives a shit and will save them in the end.
I love this workout. Just did it for the first time. Don’t let it fool you, it’s damn hard! The bit where you have to twist one leg under the other and straighten it… I couldn’t do that bit. I just fell on the floor ;) but still I managed the rest of it, hoorah!Â
I needed a new workout that wasn’t my regular pilates one because that gets a bit boring and I wanted to do something more yoga-like. This pretty much fit the bill. Give it a go! :)
Utah, home of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has the lowest rates of tobacco use and alcohol-related deaths in the nation. Yet, every year ...

This is so sad to me...I lived a hell wanting to be perfect and it almost ruined my loving marriage. I only have experience with the Mormon church. Religion is an ugly disease that causes pain and families to split apart. Religion is the one thing that is stopping me from an honest relationship with my parents and I'm not even in the damn religion!! But because religion has a choke hold on my parents I cannot ever hope to have a relationship free from hurting their hearts. I keep silent and ache as I see them spend their time and money on religion in the hopes of salvation. Imagine that!! This god damn religion that was founded by a liar and con artist, that has more billions of tax free money than any one of their members would ever hope to see, this religion that is run by a bunch of old bigoted hateful men, is supposed to grant my parents their salvation!!!!!! And they are sad in their hearts because they don't have the perfect family. We have not experienced this particular issue (drug addiction) in our family, but I can tell you I HAVE LIVED with the pain and fear of not being perfect and I never wish that on anyone. Religion is NOT LOVING it is mockery, it is the reason for so much sadness in this world. I am so glad I resigned from not only the LDS religion, but from ALL religion!!

My husband and I just sat down and wrote our resignation letter to the LDS church. I honestly feel very somber right now, but I also feel liberated.
Most of what we put in our letter was taken from suggestions online of how to resign the most effectively and efficiently, but I knew that to gain...
Thank you for these words and action. You deserve to know that a fellow former religiously brain washed member appreciates how you so eloquently shared your findings.
first a girl gets stabbed and killed by a dude at school because she refused to go to prom with him
now seven women are dead and more are injured because some idiot tool felt like sex or even attention from women was something that was somehow “owed” to him
how many more times does this have to happen before we start getting it through our heads that male entitlement fucking kills people
I think the same about religion. How many more lives must be harmed/ended/tortured in the name of religion until we realize religion kills people. I also just made a connection, religion perpetuates male dominance and women's insignificance - perhaps an end to religion will end the male entitlement disasters.
