On a moonlit night
'Red had no beginning and no end. It fused with his bones, bonded with his muscles and ligaments. It was in every pore of his skin, every filament of hair, every scrap of cartilage. He saw it whenever he opened his eyes, felt it in every touch of his skin, smelled it in the air. When liquid poured between his lips, he tasted red. When voices spoke to him, he heard the sibilant hiss of lyrium, answering the thrum in his chest. It was everywhere, everything, and it held him in its fist as completely as a sword was held in its sheath.
And he was content.'

I dunno, stop apologizing for your art. This includes not posting enough, too much, changing style, inconsistent style, repetition, subject. Its your art its your expression. Have fun.
Writing, at its core, is about stepping into someone else’s shoes. It’s not just about creating characters who are like you, it’s about understanding characters who are nothing like you. Writing forces you to ask, “Why does this person act this way?” “What are they afraid of?” “What do they want?” You have to feel what your characters are feeling, even if you don’t agree with them. That’s how you create characters who are complex, layered, and real.

Liking silverv makes me like the temperance ending more. This is probably because I have evil and malice in my heart.
This is why discussing boundaries before sex is important (following a discussion with @catsvrsdogscatswin)

i’m always thinking about that news story where a three year old boy who wandered away from his house and ended up in the middle of the woods was found by this local great pyrenees farm dog who herded the kid back to his unrelated owners house. and the guy was like. whose kid is this
that dog must have been like. hmm. this isn’t a goat. some human must have left their puppy behind by accident. i have to bring this to management. surely my owner will be able to sort out whatever has occurred. that kid was like i’m all alone and scared and omg a big fluffy puppy is here to help. and that fucking farmer looking at his dog like. who’s toddler did you steal???
I think it is very important that everyone see the good boy in question. His name is Buford.
A memory faded to damnation.
Happy new year! May many good things come in the future.
The timeline of Hellsing is something you must take into account whenever you think about certain characters. For example, in the span of what seems to be a couple of months, Integra:
Begrudgingly tolerated Alucard bringing one of his fledglings home with him.
Faced off with a paladin of the Catholic Church that killed two of her men in front of her.
Lost most of her men to an attack on the Hellsing mansion and has to put some of them down as they were undead.
Watched these same men getting pummeled into paste by her newest addition to the staff at the time.
Sees Alucard tear through dozens of people as collateral with the Dandy Man live on television at her command.
Has to endure and witness the worst attack London has ever seen in its history.
Gets backstabbed by a good chunk of the Round Table that she had some confidence in (to do their jobs at least)
Left her then butler behind to try and get back to headquarters, in which she is then informed that the mercenaries she hired and had stationed there are mostly dead as well.
Commands Alucard to release all of his restraints while also knowing that innocents will inevitably be caught in the crossfire.
Is essentially betrayed by the man she has known for her own life.
Orders Alucard to kill him.
Not only loses her eye, but also her hound. And then lingers on for the next three decades.
And all of this, with the context that her uncle had tried killing her days after her father passed away as a child.
Sir Integra Fairbrooks Wingates Hellsing is truly one of God's strongest soldiers because if others had been through a fraction of what she had, they would be in pieces.

its incredible that there are people in this world who are rude on purpose. i'm rude on accident and 6 years later i'll still be thinking about it with my heart beating so fast it feels like i'm going to pass out and my hands sweating and the sickness and the sickness and th
Good evening, Hellsing 🩸
