Finally enjoyed drawing after a long ass time and I'm starting to suspect that maybe I'm just sick as fuck of drawing humans all the time?? It'd be so fucking funny if it turns out that's the only issue I have, I'm not even kidding.

I haven't drawn personal art in maybe years but tonight I was suddenly possessed with the need to draw something anthro.

It didn't start out well but I really wanted to draw a Leonid. I used to draw a lot of em when I was younger.

But the improvement I could see with each drawing, the feeling of studying something, practicing: it felt so good. I've been depressed about not having the motivation to draw for myself for so long, but tonight I have a little Leonid scribe. And later I will draw a Leonid bard :D hopefully I'll finish it lol.

that time of the year again! now that i'm living alone and dealing with a lot more expenses, comms have become even more important for me while i look for more stable work. if you've ever seen one of my designs and thought "hey, i'd also like a cool wizard!" now's your chance! all the relevant info is in the forms, but to summarize:

use em for anything except ai, blockchain or crypto-related projects.

I work best when given lots of room for personal interpretation, but feel free to indicate in the form if you want any specific design elements or aesthetics incorporated into the design.

I work for a small indie game dev studio with some friends and today it rained like hell so the water kept running into the rooms from the main door. We stuck a bed sheet to the awning to try and stop some of it from getting into the foyer. Anyway three of us got absolutely soaked and spent the rest of the day shaking and cold. The shenanigans you experience when you and your friends work together I guess lmao.

Been discovering that I can now start calling people younger than me "kid". Like I'm some grizzled old soldier with sideburns and a cigar. I love it. No one told me I could go round sayin "Damn kid, you alright little buddy?" to the 20yo coworkers. It's fantastic, highly recommend.

My favourite thing is when people in my field of work will meet me and think I'm this competent person and then they'll spend time with me and realize, my shoes? Dirty. My phone? Always low on battery. My car? The gas hasn't been filled in a month it's running on prayers and fumes. The duality of man or whatever.

The number of kids who send me their portfolio for a 2D animation internship and don't include ANY 2D animation work is wild. One too many portfolios with pages of portraits of their friends and families and four 3D renders they did in college. Like kiddo what are you doing? If I have to message back one more person telling them to send me a 2D animation sample-

Warframe will have you begging on your knees for prime frames you don't even want to play with. Yes I've spent 3 days grinding for one chasis and no I will not use this frame ever but I've spent so much blood sweat and tears on this that now I'm INVESTED
